Interesting place! We stayed in this unit for 78 days. The VRBO description didn't mention that the 14 outside paver steps aren't evenly spaced and there is no handrail. There is approximately a 10-foot descent to the lower unit. Disabled or partially disabled guests would not be able to access the unit, and it was a little spooky walking up and down for us older folk. The "apartment" is actually the downstairs basement of a house. The house was occupied by a family that occasionally had small children running through the unit. We could hear every footstep and noise - sometimes late into the evening. The AC and heat are controlled by the upper house. There are no controls in the lower unit. They tried to set it to a "comfortable 73 degrees" but the upper and lower units cooled and heated at different rates so there were times that we were bundled up with blankets while watching TV. On the plus side, the unit was very clean with an updated bathroom and kitchen. The location wasn't bad with easy access to Tacoma and the I-5 corridor. Rashaud responded politely and promptly.

Ok as far as "apartment" goes. That's the only opinion to choose when setting up the account. With the A/C you said it was to cold from the day you arrived. We turn off the A/C you say it's too hot. We could feel the tension from the first night. Sorry if you didn't enjoy your stay in our downstairs apartment unit!
