New Lake House, Woodridge Lake, Litchfield County. Private Club Pool and Tennis!
Located in lovely Woodridge Lake, a private community, this contemporary lake home is a short walk to the private sandy beach, 10 minutes from the Litchfield Green, and 20 minutes from Mohawk Mountain. Northern Farm and Flowers, Goshen's premier year-round provisions market, nursery and U-pick flower farm (the dahlias are amazing) is nearby, as is the Connecticut Wine Trail and Sunset Meadow Vineyards, New England's premier Vineyard. The area is known for its parks, hiking trails, restaurants, boutique shopping and antique stores. It's even convenient to Bradley Airport in Hartford at 41 miles (about an hour) away.
The pictures show the lovely open floor plan with large living room with plenty of room for family and friends, along with a spacious dining area and kitchen. This sun-drenched area opens directly onto the spacious deck, bringing the outdoors in. There is a screened porch with dining table to eat al fresco on those beautiful summer nights, and firepit on the deck to enjoy after dinner drinks.
The first floor master bedroom suite includes the bedroom, bathroom and office/4th bedroom with desk and office setup, including high-speed internet and the option for a murphy bed.
Upstairs there are 2 bedrooms and a full bath upstairs, downstairs a great rec room for the kids and their friends.
Guests staying more than 2 weeks have access to the Woodridge Lake clubhouse with its lakefront deck and swimming pool, tennis, private beaches and all amenities including the private gym and more.
From the practical - dishwasher, washer dryer, cable, plenty of parking and high-speed internet, to the indulgent - the Connecticut Wine Trail, U-pick flowers, kayaking and paddle-boarding, private club with tennis, pickle, gorgeous pool, there is everything here you will need for a wonderful family summer! There's even a snack bar for family dining with the kids overlooking the lake.
And when it's time for a romantic evening for two The Litchfield Inn, Marketplace and so much more is an easy ride down the road (about 10 minutes.)

Mike and I raised our family in Fairfield County. We were looking for a smaller house that could keep our children coming home with their children. We needed lots to do nearby, but the peace and privacy that we've found in Woodridge Lake.
Why they chose this property
Woodridge Lake is a private community that was developed with the environment in mind. We love the peace of the lake and the woods, but appreciate great neighbors and security. Woodridge is a private lake. You don't get the weekend warriors on jet skies or Donzies tearing around.
What makes this property unique
You can find it all here: seclusion in our hideaway home, the private club with lakefront pool, tennis, pickle a gym and snack bar (which guests who stay for 2+ weeks can enjoy) We have the quiet sandy beach with clear lake water formed by glaciers. We have access to the harvest festivals, CT Wine trail, White Flowers Farm, even u-pick flowers and farm produce right down the street.
