Beautiful, well designed and perfectly appointed home. We had the BEST mountain vacation. Will definitely try to book here again! Cannot say enough great things about this home!
Host was responsive to questions about the property prior to our arrival and more than accommodating following our stay. I left quite a few personal items in a bedside drawer and the host personally retrieved my belongings and mailed them to me the same week. The property was well equipped and the large rooms with tall ceilings made for a comfortable retreat. I would recommend this home for families with children.
Everything was absolutely perfect! Beautiful home with room for our extended family. Kitchen has all you need, plenty of bathroom space, games and Wii for kids to play, fire pit….we left wood for the next group beds were comfortable with nice linens and towels. Can’t say enough good things about this home. Is convenient to local towns.
The "Huge Decks" was spacious, spotless, and well-stocked with entertainment options. The kitchen was well stocked as well. It was the perfect spot to relax and unwind - comfortable, clean, and exactly what we needed for a stress-free stay.
Seth was so welcoming from the very beginning when we booked the trip. He made sure we had the arrival information well in advance and also checked in to make sure we made it in ok. This house was incredible - fully stocked with everything we needed, fun games when we got snowed in, and the beds are VERY comfortable! Our kids absolutely loved the bunk room and we will definitely be staying here again!
We enjoyed our stay and had a birthday party on Saturday PM after our trip to Tweetsie Railroad! The kitchen is well equipped and the house was neat as a pin. The Mountain Dog Coffee Shop was a real treat with a whole lot more than just coffee! We really did enjoy our stay!
Such a beautiful property. It had everything you needed and it was clean and well maintained. Thank you for hosting us for our fabulous 50th girls birthday weekend
We loved everything about the beautiful cabin! They literally have everything you need to make your trip enjoyable and comfortable! Great coffee bar set up and well stocked kitchen. We enjoyed spending time around the fire pit, on the deck and also playing corn hole. Close to Grandfather Mountain and the winery. Quick and easy communication with Seth.
Our family of 14——2 grandparents and 4 adults, plus 2 adult grandchildren and 6 teenage grandchildren spent a Christmas celebration in the NC mountains in this lovely cabin in the Seven Devil’s community. It was perfect for us. The cousins had a large room with 4 bunks and two trundle beds with an additional large gathering room and bathroom. The adults had their king bedrooms and private bathrooms. Perfect. The cabin was decorated for Christmas and very festive. The hosts were super to communicate with and very responsive to a few issues that arose. I would highly recommend this cabin!
Rarely is a house exactly as listed, but that was truly the case here! The pictures represent the space perfectly. The house is large, well appointed, with lots of activities for folks of all ages. This was a perfect spot for our youth group retreat and my teens were especially loving the basement and outdoor spaces. Check-in was a breeze and the hosts were wonderful with communication. They left lots of little treats to enjoy and had everything well stocked. The beds were a bit on the firm side for me, but I’m also quite picky when it comes to that. The drive up the mountain includes a lot of switchbacks, but it isn’t a long drive and the location is perfect for trips to both Boone or Banner Elk. We hope to stay here again!

About the host
Hosted by Seth & Stefanie Hall
Seth grew up in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains, while Stefanie was raised in the suburbs of Chicago. Stefanie is an elementary school teacher, and Seth works with technology startups. We met in Chicago, moved to Charlotte, and thus began our countless trips to the mountains.
As we added two dogs and two kiddos to our family, we bounced around rentals for our trips. It didn’t take long for us to fall in love with the idea of owning one ourselves. In 2018, we took the leap but have always used a local property manager. Recently, we moved back to mountains to be closer to family and are gradually transitioning to manage all of our homes personally.
We hope everyone starts to fall in love with our favorite places, including the Asheville and Boone areas. Our goal is to make sure each of our homes are enjoyable for everyone, from adults to kids, and your furry family!
Let us know how we can make your stay even better — we’re here to help!
