About this property
Briar Patch - Double Antique Scout Cabins
These Scout cabins were originally built in the 1940s on the grounds of Camp Pottawatomie Hills. We've carefully brought them back to life in a way that retains their original character, but ensures you have a modern, comfortable lodging experience.
The Briar Patch campsite features two cabins with beds for 4 people* (1 king, 2 twins). Inside the cabins, guests are provided with plush mattresses, air conditioning, electricity, a coffee maker, and a table and chairs. Briar Patch also includes a private fire pit, gas grill, cooking utensils, and a hammock.
Briar Patch is one of 12 campsites located at Camp Kettlewood, a private 80 acre Historic Girl Scout Camp restored for getaways for families and friends. Enjoy beautiful walking trails through forest and next to a duck pond / marsh, activities for families (corn hole, etc) and many places nearby for hiking, biking, fishing, and boating!
*An additional 4 kids / guests can comfortably sleep on camping pads (not provided).
