Good potential but fell short
Let me start with the positives: The house is in a great location in proximity to Sag Harbor, it has 4 bedrooms with a very nice pool out back and the hosts/manager were very attentive and responsive during our stay (although nothing was resolved). However, the listing didn't mention that one of the bedrooms did not have an entrance door or window shades, so there was absolutely no privacy in that room. The only TV in the house is in the family room and didn't work the entire time we were there. The WiFi is spotty. It goes on and off throughout the day. There was also an on and off noise (first night, we thought it was an animal outside howling, but then realized that it was coming from the house and not outside) that we heard throughout the night in the master bedroom and the room next to the master for which we couldn't locate the source. It was hard to sleep through the night with this noise. Lastly, the pool is very nice, but the night we got there it was very windy and half of the pool was loaded with leaves and sticks that fell in. It would have been nice to have a skimmer so that we could clean the pool out, but there wasn't one. The host/owner was responsive to our complaints, but nothing ended up getting resolved on any of the issues. We did enjoy our time, but wish we didn't have to deal with these issues on our vacation.
