About this property
Over the Rainbow House in The Emerald City, Seattle WA
Located in Seattle, there's no place like our Over the Rainbow House!
Follow the yellow brick road, a private entrance, to the house.
Inside, you'll find all the modern amenities nestled among Wizard of Oz themed rooms.
The main floor includes:
A rainbow kitchen with most of the items you'll need.
A dining nook with a table for 4.
The Wicked Witch of the West's bedroom with twin bunk beds and a reading nook.
An Emerald City inspired bathroom with bathtub, shower and a washer/dryer.
The living room is dedicated to the Scarecrow, Tinman and Cowardly Lion and includes a ROKU TV, books, and games.
Out back find Munchkinland, complete with a large, covered deck with a cafe table and chairs and a fenced in yard with a cozy bench.
Take the twister-themed spiral staircase to the second floor. WARNING! Although we have gates for the stairs, we recommend that kids under 5 years old don't have access to the stairs without supervision! There is an additional staircase connecting the back deck with the master bedroom.
Arrive in the Kansas bedroom with a Queen sized bed, reading nook, ROKU TV, books and games, a balcony with cafe table and chairs and Toto, too!
Glinda the Good Witch of the North decorated the upstairs bathroom so be ready for pink and silver!
We want to Keep the Emerald City Green so we are implementing many eco-friendly amenities: energy saving appliances; compost and recycling bins; earth and human friendly cleaning supplies, shampoos, conditioners and soaps, reusable products and more.
Our neighborhood, Crown Hill, has shopping and dining. We are close to the public buses, that can get you anywhere in the city (almost!). We are a hop, skip and a jump away from Carkeek Park, which is packed with walking trails, tall trees, creeks, an orchard, playground, picnic areas, a beach and awesome views of the Salish Sea. If you come in late October you can watch the salmon make their way up Piper's Creek!
