Timewise, LGB is much easier getting 'in and out' of than LAX as it's much smaller and very close to our cottage. SNA (also known as John Wayne Airport) is also a smaller airport and located in Orange County. Timeframes can vary depending on time of day and current traffic conditions.

Super place for our family to spend time together...4 adults and 1 child.... inside was beautifully maintained vintage cottage with beautiful antiques and decor. The outdoor space was amazing and comfortable... mostly shaded with a beautiful rose arch and plentiful greenery and other flowers. We also enjoyed the gas grill and the house was well appointed with just about everything you would need.

The house was exactly what we needed for our long weekend visit with our younger daughter who attends CSULB. Kelly was a dream to work with as she was quick to respond to messages and texts. The home was very comfortable, and the location was prime.

In communicating with this guest I knew from the start this booking would work out well, quick return of Rental Contract, easy to communicate with, etc. I would happily welcome this guest and her family back in the future.
The home is in a great location. The beds were comfortable and I enjoyed relaxing in the backyard. For future guests, it would be good to have coffee well-stocked. A bonus would be to have individually wrapped soap bars, as well as the liquid soap. I did not have issues with getting in the garage, as our rental was a Mazda MX5 (compact SUV).
OMG was this place amazing. Perfect neighborhood, walking distance to amazing restaurants and bars, safe, clean and just a pleasant experience. What was even better was the communication from the owner. They messaged everyday to ensure everything was good. Amazing place, great area and the best communication from the owner I have ever received. A. When staying in Long Beach again I’ll definitely book this place again!
It was so convenient to shopping and the beach. The lovely garden at the back was such a bonus. It was a great place to get together and talk. Overall it’s a wonderful place to make home for a little while. Everything was clean and well equipped and very very pleasant

Absolutely gorgeous, a real escape with spacious and comfortable living area and great kitchen. The bedrooms provided a real sanctuary with good quality bed linen and room for the family. The garden is a real treat. Cannot recommend the house or the location enough. Walking distance to beach and restaurants. Loved it.

We had an amazing stay at Madison De Fleurs. The house and gardens are beautiful and peaceful. We had our meals outside on the rear patio which was quiet and relaxing. The chefs kitchen had everything needed for a gourmet meal. Hostess Kelly was great to work with and immediately responded to questions about the house and the area. Belmont Shores is a delightful area for foodies and music lovers. The beach is an easy ten minute walk as well.

We absolutely loved everything about this beautiful cottage. It's right off Second Street, so getting to shops and restaurants was a breeze, and the beach was about a 10-minute walk. Kelly has poured her heart into this home and garden space, and it shows! The back patio is a dream garden, and the interior is a fabulous mix of antiques and beach vibe. Kelly made sure that we had everything we needed, and even left vases of fresh cut flowers in every room, straight from the yard.

It's my hope you enjoy the property as I do! Just a few houses off 2nd street, you won't run out of new and interesting things to do. This cottage is in the best location if you desire close proximity to great beaches, restaurants, bakeries, pubs to include Alamitos Bay and Yacht Club! Enjoy sitting on one of the local 2nd street benches just to people watch or take a short stroll up the street and walk along the beach with 'waves', the bay (it's calm and great for younger kids) or the boardwalk to watch the sunset. Be sure to check out the 'location tab' to see just how great the location is. Enjoy the advantage of having the ability to take a short walk to just about everywhere!
Why they chose this property
Once you've arrived, you'll appreciate the private back and side yard as well as the gated front yard. Your proximity to banks, dry cleaners, drug store, post office, massage, salon, etc. is all within walking distance - minutes away. It's also fun to rent a bike and ride along the bayside or the boardwalk along the ocean. If you're a coffee drinker and don't feel like making a pot at 'home' - there are several coffee houses a few minutes to the left of the property . . . or a 10 minute walk to the right!
What makes this property unique
Enjoy all that the 'Shore' has to offer without ever needing to get behind the wheel. The weather here on Southern California's coast is wonderful. As three sides of Belmont Shores is "hugged" by water, you're sure to enjoy this seaside community. You also might enjoy the 'Farmer's Market' situated in the parking lot near the bay, this market is a great way to spend a Sunday morning. Grab what you need for the week, or . . . head across the lot to the weekly Art and Craft fair - both are held at East Marina Drive south of East 2nd Street.
