Family vacation

When my family of 12 arrived to this property we were very excited for a week away. Getting into the house was easy and there were sheets provided for all the beds. When we first walked in we were appalled at how filthy the house was. There was still trash in the trash can, a full bag of trash on the floor upstairs, and dirty comforters in the washing machine. I messaged the host right away. We started cleaning the house so we could enjoy our week. Two hours later the house was ok to live in for the week. We had to scrub all 7 bathrooms, sweep/vacuum all the floors and wipe down all the counters. We couldn't use the outdoor shower because it is covered in mold. The deck has screws/nails exposed and the pricker bushes needed to be trimmed so we could sit on the deck. The house itself is a nice space with a little TLC could be an amazing property. Having a full bathroom in every bedroom was a very nice bonus that we weren't expecting. The walk to the beach from this house is a nice relaxing walk.

We have used the same cleaning company and linen company for 3 years on this vacation rental and have never had a complaint. My cleaning company sends me pictures of the house when they are done cleaning it. Unfortunatly I can not add pictures to this review. . The guest arrived at 3pm and at 3:55 stated she had 9 peope scrubbing for 2 hours. This is a 6 Bedroom, 7 Bath house with 2 large living rooms which was cleaned the night before and the only pictures the guest took was a weed and underneath an outdoor piece of furniture. I will make sure the maintenance people do a better job outside. She originally rented it for 9 guests and when 12 arrived, she needed more linens. I had them there within 90 minutes. I try to accomadate our guests and keep all communication positive and I responded immediatly to concerns as I always do. After the linens arrived on Saturday at 5pm, 1 hour after she told me about being short linens I never heard from the guest all week until I saw her review. Throughout the week, she never had any other comments or complaints. Because I had a day in between bookings, I offered them a free night just to say thank you for being aour guest but never heard anything back. I did rate them a 4 and I stated I would rent to them again as thier were not more concerns during the week and I would want get a second chance at having a satisified guest
