Baldy Basecamp sits at the foot of Bald Mountain's Warm Springs side — 3 minutes on foot to the ski lifts and Apples Bar & Grill. Three bedrooms, four beds across three dedicated sleeping areas, three hot tubs, a seasonal pool, tennis and pickleball courts, and a playground, all on site. The Warm Springs River runs just outside the door. A bottle of wine will be waiting when you arrive.

SLEEPING — 4 BEDS + SOFA SLEEPER, 4 SLEEPING AREAS
Main floor: Living area with queen sleeper sofa and fireplace. Upper floor: Master suite with king bed. Second bedroom with two twin beds. Third floor loft: Full bed — a favorite with kids and teens. Three Roku Smart TVs, one on each level.

- 3 year-round hot tubs — open daily until 10PM

Step outside and you're on the river. Quiet mornings, riverside walks, and fly fishing right from the property. In winter, it's the sound that makes you want to stay in with a fire.

LOCATION
3-minute walk to the Warm Springs ski lifts and lodge at Bald Mountain. Apples Bar & Grill is steps away. The free shuttle to Sun Valley Village, Elkhorn, and downtown Ketchum stops right outside. Friedman Memorial Airport (SUN) is 26 minutes away with seasonal direct flights from Seattle, Los Angeles, Salt Lake City, and Denver.

We loved our brief stay in the Baldy Basecamp Unit. Great location. Loved that we could walk to rent our stuff and then head out to ski for the day. Also enjoyed eating at Apple's! Twice! Place was clean and welcoming. Owner was super accommodating and provided excellent communication. We appreciated the proximate location to the riverside hot tub and used that both nights. A perfect kick off weekend for our time in Sun Valley.

Cute ski cottage. Comfortable living and kitchen area. Nicely equipped kitchen. Beautiful bathroom and the most comfortable beds. The pool and court area is lovely. The only issue we had was the dryer didn’t work but it was scheduled to be fixed. Hopefully it will work for others. There is a coin operated laundry facility onsite. I would stay again.

Home is tastefully decorated, well laid out, and especially well provisioned with the little essentials that make a VBRO stay easy and pleasant. The hosts were quick to respond to our questions The lifts are a five minute walk away. We were four and were completely comfortable; six is doable, but you should be comfortable with close quarters and 1.5 baths.
