There were so many little extras like coffee for a pot or keurig. There were little treats and every kind of utensil or pot and pan you could need. It was super clean and beautifully decorated. She was super kind and friendly.

Charming Little Blue House

We had a wonderful stay at this charming little blue house in Gatesville, Texas! My husband was in town for work, and while we usually stay in hotels, we were lucky to find this gem when everything else was booked—and it turned out to be the perfect place.The home was cute, comfortable, and exceptionally clean. One of our favorite features was the fenced-in backyard and convenient doggy door, which made it ideal for our dog. The covered back porch was also a highlight—perfect for enjoying morning coffee and a good book in peace.The location was fantastic—just a short walk to beautiful parks with great walking/running trails, perfect for our early morning walks. We also noticed the city pool nearby, which looked inviting and well-kept.Our host was outstanding—friendly, responsive, and accommodating throughout our stay. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would absolutely stay here again!

The house was very cute; clean with everything you could need for your stay. Nice fenced yard for my dog to have some free space also. Neighborhood was nice to walk him with a walking trail just down the street and the pretty town square just up the other direction. A storm came through and knocked the power out for a short time over night and the host checked on us to see if we needed anything and let us know the ETA for power to be restored.

Check in was a breeze and she checked on us to make sure everything was going ok. I will bee staying there when ever I am iin town. Nice and quite. I took my dog out about 3 and there were 4 deer across the street. Perfect for us.

We were not born in Gatesville but we got here as soon as we could! We moved to Gatesville in 2009 and instantly felt at home.
We have planted great roots here and wanted to share that with others.

Why they chose this property

We love the charm of the older homes in this area. The courthouse and local shops are just up the street. Raby park is right around the corner. The city pool, pickleball courts, basketball courts and a skate park are a short walk away as well.

What makes this property unique

The Little Blue House is located just a short walk away from the courthouse square and city parks. The home is updated but keeps it’s “old cottage” charm.
