About the host
Hosted by Ian Dowling
My family have owned Branxholm Knowe since 2001 and have been letting the property to holiday guests for 16 years now. Career wise we are involved in financial services and property investment where we own additional holiday lets, hotels and commercial property. We currently live in Worcestershire with our two children.
Why they chose this property
We have always loved Branxholm Knowe. A traditional and comforting house, it has a lovely homely feel about it. Growing up in the Scottish Borders and Northumberland I have always loved the area and I am delighted to see many people exploring this 'hidden' gem of an area nowadays!
What makes this property unique
Quite simply the delightful garden room which connects the house to nature and is flooded with light! We love this room on a crisp winter day with the log burner roaring!
