Island Winds East Units: During Spring Break, mid-May through mid-August, Labor Day, and the Shrimp Festival event, each unit is allotted one (1) parking pass, regardless of its size. Extra parking options are available offsite, and please note that these arrangements may be subject to change.
On-site paid parking is available and managed by the property's HOA. Parking passes can be purchased upon arrival and are valid for the duration of your stay. Please be sure to display the pass clearly on your driver's side dashboard at all times while on the property.

For the comfort and safety of all guests, U-hauls, trailers, boats, jet skis, buses, and similar vehicles are not permitted on the property.

Always a good time in gulf shores. Property could use some love. Ceilings were peeling and falling onto floors, cupboards didn’t all close, some cupboards didn’t have knobs, some dishes were dirty, fridge wasn’t fully clean when arrived. Not bad just took some clean up on our part before we unpacked and brought in groceries. Carole at the front desk of Island Winds East was amazing each time I had to go down when our code kept needing to be reset as well. All in all we enjoy gulf shores

Overall Good place

The property was great and location was wonderful. This condo could use some love. Very small Kitchen has definitely seen better days - cabinet doors don't close and lots of wear and tear on the countertops. But the living space was very spacious - plenty of comfy seating. Bedrooms spacious and beds comfy - bathrooms were clean but could definitely use updating as well. The big issue we had was that the description of the condo says "parking pass included" and when we arrived we found that was not the case at all and had to pay for parking. Definitely need to update that information in the description. Overall it was a good space to spend our week.

Convenient to the beach and within walking distance to a lot of restaurants and attractions. We had 2 vehicles and only 1 parking pass, so we had to park our other vehicle 2 miles away at the host’s free parking. Island Winds East could use some upgrades, but overall was decent. Our condo was clean and beds were comfortable. But it could really use updates. Cabinets in kitchen are old and don’t shut all the way. Trash can lid was broken. There was no broom, so the floor stayed sandy. The balcony was not as pictured. There was only 1 chair and it was broken. Overall it was a nice stay and convenient.
