Located in Oberlin, this holiday home is in a rural area. The Weltzheimer/Johnson House and Weltzheimer/Johnson House Frank Lloyd Wright Building are local landmarks, and some of the area's attractions include New Union Center for the Arts and Firelands Association for the Visual Arts. Harbourtown Fine Arts Center and Lee's Landing are also worth visiting.
We enjoyed staying here with our family for a quick Fall weekend getaway. It reminded us of visiting my husband’s parents’ farm home many years ago—warm, cozy, and full of charm. The hosts added so many thoughtful personal touches, from the breakfast items to the snacks, which made our stay feel extra special.
Marcia was so kind. The kitchen was stocked for our use. However, we did not have the time to enjoy all that she provided. I cannot wait until our next stay.

Thank you Tina. Please come and stay with us the next time you are in town. Marcia
What a terrific place! It is extremely quiet and private, with ample space to spread out. We were in Oberlin for a wedding and couldn't have found a better place to stay. Our host, Marcia, welcomed us by stocking the refrigerator with a bounty of breakfast foods! Eggs, bacon, muffins, juice, milk, and coffee! I recommend staying here!
Hospitable and accommodating host. Kitchen with snacks and breakfast, thoughtful arrangement of the house and furniture, clean. Essentially 2 suites, one on each floor , each with a bedroom, bathroom and a living room with a daybed and sofa. Private yard and porch, partially shaded by trees. There is no wi-fi at the property, and host was upfront and transparent about it.
Enjoyed it very much and appreciated all the extras provided especially coffee and all etc! So enjoyed the back yard and privacy. The only thing missing was WiFi just because we are so used to having it. Great place👍
The Red Barn Farm House was perfect for our family to stay in for two nights. The breakfast was very thoughtful, and had a great variety to cover the tastes of all in our group. The many bedrooms and twin beds were perfect for our family, and our son also enjoyed all the cute decor. We look forward to returning in the future so we can enjoy the large backyard more with friends.
First let me say that our host went above and beyond to make our stay wonderful. From the breakfast items to plenty of comfy blankets. The fenced in backyard was spacious and had several comfortable seating areas. I would recommend this place to couples as well as families.

Thank you Lori for your review. We hope to see you again when you are in the area. Best. Marcia
Hi, we stayed for a night & items were well stocked in fridge but you’ll need to bring your own cooking oil & spices besides salt & pepper. Comfortable, clean, single beds but plenty of space.
Lots of room for 6 guys on our annual fishing trip. Big back yard and fire pit. Bring some yard games.

Fantastic!
The Red Barn Fairy Farm was excellent! Fully stocked- wonderful yard and private. We visit regularly, so it's so nice that we've found a place we can continue to book with.
Thank you so much!
Property was exactly as advertised. Found kitchen stocked with all kinds of breakfast foods, snacks and beverages which was a wonderful thing after a long trip. Home was quiet and had a nice eating area that sat up to eight people. Host was very gracious when we accidentally locked ourselves out. A really nice visit.
We were pleasantly surprised with this property! In the country but close enough to town when we need it! Nice fenced in back yard for our grandchildren when they came for a cookout! The host is amazing!
The Red Barn Dairy Farm ended up being the perfect spot for us to enjoy a weekend away. Plenty of space to spread out, two full bathrooms, a great big table for playing board games, and the most peaceful backyard oasis. Everything was exceptionally clean and we appreciated the extra touches such as snacks and water bottles. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook, and we took advantage of the awesome propane grilling station every day. Would stay here again!

Thank you Andrew for your appreciation of our property's uniqueness. We would be happy to have you return anytime to visit!
We stayed 7 days, for a fishing trip. Plenty of parking for trucks/boats. Its an old farmhouse, in a country setting, safe neighborhood, did not need to worry about our equipment.
When a couple small issues came up, the host quickly had them fixed. Great communication.
Would stay again.

Thanks for the review. Look forward to your next visit.
Overall good stay a few minutes from Oberlin College. Lots of space in the house and the yard area. Easy parking. The homeowner also leaves an incredible amount of food for you, beyond just snacks, but including a fridge filled with eggs, sausage, bacon, orange juice, bottled waters, etc. The house works well and our stay was good. The only additional thing to be aware of is the bedroom/bathroom situation. While there are a lot of beds available, the placement is something to know as both bathrooms are off one of the bedrooms and one of the bedrooms requires you to go through a different bedroom to get to it. Wouldn't likely be an issue for families, but possibly if staying with large group of friends or something.
