19 ON THE BAY is a seasonal cottage that has been fully renovated and beautifully decorated and this one story Sandy Point cottage is ready for you to enjoy. Two bedrooms (queen size mattresses) with ceiling fans, 1 bathroom with a full sized shower, 2 comfortable living areas with sofas and chairs to relax in and a fully equipped kitchen are just a few of the characteristics of this quaint Sandy Point cottage.

19 ON THE BAY is ready for you to come and settle in. A large, flat screen TV/DVD, books, games, soft bedding and towels including beach towels along with extra toiletries if you forgot something all available for your convenience and comfort. The pantry is stocked with Tea Bags, Coffee, Bottle Water, Sugar, Artificial Sweeteners, Creamers, Condiments, and everything you need to make Smores in your private Fire Pit. Enjoy !

As far as your eyes can see is the blue waters of the Penobscot Bay which is just a stones throw away. From the wall of the windows in the four season porch, the kitchen, dining room and living room you get to relax and melt away in the sound and the sight of the waves that rush back and forth on the private sandy beach that awaits your feet in its sand. Even when you wake up and look out the bedroom door your view is none other than the Penobscot Bay.

As sunlight fills the cottage through the bank of windows that surround the cottage and the sea air flows through its rooms you may not want to leave your comfortable surroundings but you would miss so much. Kayaking, fishing, sailing, swimming, day trips to Bar Harbor, Acadia National Park, Fort Knox, eating at Young's Lobster Pound, enjoying the newly open Gastro Pub "Hey Sailor", touring Marine Museum, Antique and Art Galleries. Small towns of Bucksport, Searsport, Belfast, Lincolnville, Camden, and Rockport all bring their New England charm to you with quaint shops, eateries, and beautiful views of the ocean as you travel up and down US1.

Text owner the night before with your anticipated departure time. Check Out is at 10:00 am. We will see you off.

Used towels are to be put into the shower and used bedding put into a pillowcase and leave in the bedroom.

Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

No music or loud noises after 10pm or before 8am.

There is a sunken fire pit located on the property. A fire is only permitted in this fire pit.

No fireworks permitted.

Absolutely the best

The cottage is exceptional as are the owners. Very clean well stocked and very comfortable beds , the view is astonishing and close to so many attractions and restaurants. Definitely worth the trip

We'll Miss the View

This particular cottage is all in the details and setting. Beautiful perennial gardens surround two sides of the house with window boxes and hanging basket in front. The lawn is a meadow-sized carpet of green facing a photo-worthy view. The hosts have provided almost anything you would want or could use during your stay. It's location gives access to Acadia/Bar Harbor/Mt. Desert Is/Blue Hill/Schoodic Peninsula in an hour or less. The lovely, quintessential New England village of Belfast is just down the road.

Perfect place to get away into nature

We stayed in October. The property was clean, comfortable, and cozy with plenty provided including a fireplace, fire pit, kayaks and supplies for smores. The view over the bay was incredible both from the kitchen and the adirondack chairs out back . Close enough to Acadia and Bar Harbor for an easy day trio

Very clean, and beautifully decorated. Everything is there that you would need for a stay.

Avery nice stay and close to alot of sights. Nice waking up to the ocean in your back yard. The owners Steve and Carol went out of their way to make sure you had everything that you needed.

Charming spot on the water.

Perfect spot with amazing views and everything you could wish for a comfortable stay. Carol and Steve were great hosts and provided the little touches that made our stay memorable. Well equipped kitchen, pretty interior and stunning views made it special. Good location for exploring the Maine coast.

SO peaceful and relaxing!

We needed a place to unwind and this was it. Great waterfront property with comfortable places to sit and observe the occasional boat go by, lots of birds and a seal relaxing on his favorite rock, as well as the shoreline changing with the tides. We used the available double kayak to check out the nearby shoreline and we landlocked Rocky Mountain dwellers ate fresh seafood every day - especially lobsters - from numerous local restaurants in the area.

Amazing vacation cottage

Relaxing Week

Beautiful hideaway at the top of the bay. If you are looking to relax on the water, go kayaking, visit Acadia, and go for a schooner ride out of Camden - this is your cottage.

Carol and Steve did a wonderful job at making this cottage a home! It had a perfect view of the bay. They had every amenity you would ever need from DVDs to watch to extra soap. This place is truly wonderful. Would recommend it to anyone that wants a Maine getaway!

A perfect retreat

Our family had a wonderful time. The location allows a trip to Acadia and plenty of options to unwind and connect. The host couple are warm and predict things that may be needed. The kayaks, view and fire pit make it very special.

Steve and I own this wonderful, cozy cottage on the waterfront of the Penobscot Bay. Our home is directly across the road from the cottage. We are always available if you need us but if you don't we will stay away and let you enjoy your holiday at this beautiful, homey cottage in Midcoast Maine.

19 On The Bay is located on a PRIVATE ROAD with only 13 homes in this coved area called Mill Cove. Penobscot River opens up to the Atlantic Ocean and the cottage is just steps away. Odom Ledge where seals rest is a short kayak trip and a roaring fire in the fire pit on the property is a beautiful way to end your day.
