Beautiful location on cove, very quiet, helpful owner and host. We loved the location which was convenient to visit Acadia as well as Camden, Belfast,Rockland and Bangor (all within about an hour).
The Kitchen was well stocked with cookware, etc. Its a beautiful view and the path to the water seemed like a "secret path".Enjoyed the sauna and soaking tub. Great location proximity to Belfast and the parks in the general area. Incredible sunrise and sunsets.Nice and clean.very responsive and helpful host.
The cottage was great, quiet, beautiful on the Cove. Well appointed kitchen, comfortable beds, a very nice master bath as well as a shower in a second bathroom. We had our kids who are local visit and everyone enjoyed the outdoors. The location is great as well, with Searsport and Belfast nearby on one direction, and Bucksport, Blue Hill, and Ellsworth and Acadia on the other! Great spot!

We enjoyed our stay. Nice peaceful location with a great view. I mentioned we liked to play jenga so they made sure they're was a set there for us so I didn't need to pack one.
This could become a 5 star listing if you could have a better view of the bay. I don’t know the rules for the landscaping but I would cut some of the brush down to enjoy the view.
Home was tucked away, but easy to find. Home was very clean, and fit our needs. It appears the home got new floors and trim, and somehow in the process the door jams got messed up. Most of the doors will not close or closed very hard with the door rubbing on the jam. Don't overlook that there is no TV. This wasn't important to us, but may be for others.
This is a very cute house in a great location, with comfortable beds and high-quality linens — definitely nicer than what you usually find in vacation rentals. We really appreciated the cozy feel of the space. There were a few hiccups during our stay. When we arrived, there was some dog waste in the yard (despite the property’s “no dogs” rule), but the host had it cleaned up promptly once notified. The back door didn’t lock properly; when we asked about it, we were told it was just “tricky,” so we avoided locking it afterward. After checkout, we were informed we’d broken it, which was surprising. Another door was also reported as broken, though we aren’t sure what that referred to — I had read in a prior review that some doors didn’t close well, and we noticed that too, so it may be an ongoing maintenance issue. The driveway turnaround is extremely tight, and unfortunately we accidentally broke a flower pot while maneuvering — for which we’re very sorry. The dishwasher wasn’t cleaning dishes fully (likely needs the filter cleaned), and many of the mugs were stained. The outdoor furniture also could have been cleaner; we didn’t feel able to use the benches on the deck.Overall, the home has a lot of charm, a fantastic location, and some lovely touches, but a few maintenance and cleanliness updates would make it an even better stay.
