Great place for a large group of people.There was more than enough space to comfortably accommodate everyone. The pool and hot tub were thoroughly enjoyed by everyone in the family.

Overall, property in clean and good condition. only issues were in the main bath upstairs. the handle of the top drawer by the washing basin came out, as well as the knob of the hot water tap in the bath. It caused some inconveniences but was fixed the next day.

The house was good in terms of size and location, but needs a lot of maintenance and updating. Disappointing because it could be really nice with a bit of effort. The patio doors are broken and don't close/seal properly, the bathrooms are tired/old and awkwardly laid out - the master bathroom is completely open to the bedroom, with the toilet in a literal closet (with old sliding closet doors) and no shower. The cleaning was...ok. The house largely appeared clean, but there was garbage and a shoe under the couch in plain view when we walked in. Most odd - there were 30 flies in the house when we arrived. We messaged the host and she was unbothered, said a door must have been left open but - it was an INSANE amount of flies. There was clearly an infestation somewhere in the house. We had to buy fly traps and by the end of the weekend, there were 20 dead flies all over the house. We discovered some of the light fixtures were also full (i.e. 50) of dead flies from before we came, confirming that there was a problem bigger than "a door was left open". We received a partial refund but it was still fairly gross to have to deal with.

We’re truly sorry for the inconvenience caused by the fly issue during your stay. This was the first time we’ve ever had this happen, and we immediately followed up with our cleaner to understand the cause. As you kindly mentioned at the time, you preferred that we leave it until after your departure, out of respect for your request, we didn’t send a cleaner during your stay. Even so, we absolutely take guest comfort seriously and provided a refund to make up for the inconvenience. We want to assure future guests that this was an isolated situation, and we are always proactive in addressing any unexpected issues.
