- Please note that Lake Alexander has zebra mussels, which contribute to its very clear water. While the water is beautiful for swimming, we ask all renters to adhere to local watercraft and boating regulations to help protect the lake and its ecosystem.
-We recommend wearing water shoes, as the lake bottom may be sharp in some areas due to mussels.
