Fantastic getaway! The cabin is like something out of a magazine! The grounds are well groomed and quiet. You are far enough away from all other houses that it's completely private. This was a first-rate stay and we felt very lucky to have found it.

This log Cabin was soooo amazing, from start to finish.!!The check-in process was super easy. The cabin was spotless and stocked with everything that you could think of and more!!Fresh eggs from their chickens were a special touch and ready in the refrigerator for you! I even bought something to take home!In addition, they had a book of local recommendations, which were outstanding, Ducks damn diner and the Italian restaurant Franco’s one of the best meals I’ve had in Florida!!This truly was the best rentals that I’ve ever stayed in and hopefully we’ll be back again!I have been in the hospitality industry for 30 years so I know what to look for and it truly was exceptional. I highly recommend this Cabin.!!

Perfect Relaxing Getaway

Clean, quiet, and everything you need for a wonderful time. It is remote so come prepared for your stay. If you enjoy beautiful Natural Florida and it’s still quietness, then this is the place!

Wonderful and relaxing!

We wanted to stay a quiet place that wasn’t too far from all the fun. This was perfect. We drove to Disney and Universal from the cabin and it wasn’t bad at all. The host has paid great attention to detail, and her guest book is amazing! I would highly recommend anyone staying here for relaxing, shopping and some fun!

Was Looking for a get away to disconnect with my favorite person and came across this cabin. It was better than what I expected! It was literally a picture of perfection. Everything about this cabin was fantastic! We had zero complaints, from the cabin, to the property, to the restaurants…. Everything was perfectly perfect❤️ Will definitely book again!

Great cabin and location!

Cabin (guesthouse) is very nice, clean, and well appointed. Host responded promptly to questions and was very nice. Loved the fresh eggs and the book detailing the history and building of the cabin. The location is just far enough from everything to be rural (i.e. quiet!) but only 10- 20 minutes from everything (Villages, Opry, Silver springs, etc). Plenty to do in the local area. We loved the screened in porch, perfect for morning coffee.

DELIGHTFUL!

This was our fourth stay at this cabin. SO peaceful and charming. Easy access to The Villages and Ocala. We had Orange Blossom Opry tickets for their Christmas show and this cabin is only a short way up the road. Hosts are very accomodating and respond to communications quickly. Peaceful. Quiet. Charming. Delightful.

We built this home ourselves along with the main house on this acreage in 2004. My husband, Bob is retired law enforcement and is a Master Woodworker. I am a retired banker and volunteer as a Master Gardener. We both grew up in upstate New York and retired to Florida in 2004.
