Property was great, right on the water, however we stayed for a wedding weekend and it was a nor'easter and just was a little disappointed in making my son walk his dog off the property around the neighborhood during the nor'easter which we had heavy rain and heavy winds. Other then that all was great.

We just wrapped up a stay here with two kids, my parents, and two doggos in tow, and it could not have been better. This house checks every box for a multigenerational trip: comfortable, clean, and set up so everyone, from the dogs to the grandparents, had a good time.Let's start with the beds, because honestly, that's rare enough to call out. The mattresses are new memory foam, and after years of "vacation rental beds" that feel like an afterthought, this was a welcome surprise. Everyone slept super well, which made the whole week better. The furniture, inside and out, was just as comfortable (and beautiful!). Nothing felt like it was there to fill space or was a hand-me-down from another house.The location is the real showstopper, though. Being right on the water on Great Island means you step out the back and you're at a great little dock. The yard is thoughtfully laid out too. No matter the time of day, there was always a shady spot and a sunny spot, which meant everyone had a comfortable corner from morning to night.This is a house that makes you want to hang around all day: paddling off the dock in the morning, lawn games on the side, lunch at the big table, a comfy afternoon nap, and a fire pit evening to close things out. When we did want to venture out, Galilee was an easy stroll away. A true throw-back vacation vibe.And MJ was super responsive throughout our visit when we had questions. Highly recommend this one. We’d go back in a heartbeat!
