This cabin was amazing. The host was on top of everything from check in to check out. Was very relaxing and had plenty of games and things to do around the cabin lots of wildlife we got to see turkeys one morning. The whole check-in process was smooth and we felt right at home will definitely be back and rebooking this cabin in the nearest future.
Very family-friendly. Loved the space and the rooms were very clean. The host replied to texts in a timely manner. The only issue was there were some dirty dishes. However, the host responded quickly. Overall, very nice vacation. We would definitely stay at the cabin again.

Thank you for the 5-star review! Glad Bearburgh On The Lake was family-friendly and that the rooms were very clean. Apologies for the dirty dishes — we appreciate you letting us know and are addressing it. Happy our team replied promptly. We’d love to host you again.
The cabin was exactly how it was described. The host was very quick to respond to any questions we had. We really enjoyed our time at the cabin and look forward to returning.
Bring your own pot holders and be prepared for spider webs, there were to many in the house for me. The washing machine is a front load and the rubber seal was moldy. The toilets all had a ring like they might’ve been cleaned but it wasn’t recent. (Paying the 200 plus cleaning fee, I would expect clean toilets and no cobwebs or spiders inside.) The lighting upstairs in the kitchen/living room had some bulbs out and others not matching so the lighting wasn’t great. The trash can in the kitchen needs a new battery so the lid will open automatically.
Overall, we enjoyed our stay at this property Our family really enjoyed the pool table and the layout allowed us to spread out a little when needed. The pool was a bit of a hike down a steep hill, but there is parking there so you can drive. While the space didn’t feel dirty necessarily, it didn’t feel “company clean” either (e.g: ring in the toilet and spider webs/cobb webs in corners and on the stairs). The first morning we were there, I discovered the coffee maker wasn’t working, and messaged the owner who sent someone over with a new coffee maker the same day.

The cabin is pretty but not set up for senior citizens with any kind of walking issues. Parking of your vehicles is above cabin entrance and you must walk down a rocky/dirt incline to steps into cabin. The deck is awesome but was very dirty. I, in fact, swept and washed off the deck in order to enjoy it. BUT the sofa was so broken down that when you sat down you go almost to the floor. No other seats except wooden dining chairs were available. Did not know TVs were not Smart TVs until after payment. In the description it states enjoying your favorite movies and such. But not on regular TV and no DVD player. The master bedroom and bath were great and very clean. All in all the cabin needs some TLC. Landscaping had not been touched. Weedy and some trash in flowerbeds not very good first look. Sorry this is my first disappointment from a vrbo rental. This was not a relaxing/enjoyable vacation.
