I was born and raised in San Diego. I love our beaches, mountains, lakes and the multi-cultural events we have in San Diego. I have this property to host my family and friends to visit so I only host on VRBO occasionally. It makes me happy to see my guests enjoy my beautiful hometown as much as I do.
Why they chose this property
I've lived in this neighborhood for 20 years, and I love all the activities that are available within walking and biking distance.
What makes this property unique
This is a family-friendly neighborhood with so many activities for adults and children within walking distance. The famous Balboa Park with museums, cafes, gardens, and the San Diego Zoo is right across the street! The area is designed for walking and biking. There are playgrounds and volley ball courts in the park across the street. The ocean is just a few miles away and opens up even more family friendly activities. The Inn offers spacious and quiet rooms to relax in, cook a meal, and lounge on the rooftop after a busy day in San Diego. The Inn is managed by Wyndham. I reserve a room at this property for my friends and family to stay when they visit. If my family changes their plans, I rent the extra space to others to enjoy. In addition, I may be available to pick you up from the San Diego Airport's FREE Flyer Shuttle Stop at Old Town (Amtrak station) and drop you off. (Info on the Airport Flyer shuttle https://www.san.org/to-from/Public-Transportation#1178347-san-diego-flyer) I also have beach equipment I can share with you: boogie boards, a folding bench, and an inflatable paddle board (with a slow leak).
