We are the delighted new owners of this well established & well loved short term rental! This Rockport bungalow sits on a quiet side street between Granite St and the ocean! You’ve got the best of both worlds with a private pool in your backyard and only a 5 minute walk to Front Beach.

Everything you’d want out of Rockport is within reach! Across from Front Beach you can stop at Fresco’s Seaside for some beach front bites, or stroll a bit further to Bearskin neck to check out the shops, art galleries, restaurants & performance center.

This home boasts 2 inviting bedrooms with 1 queen bed in one room and 2 queen beds in the other. The open, yet cozy living room includes a fireplace, large comfortable sectional and large windows with slider showing off the beautiful pool and backyard. Central Air, WiFi, a library and laundry units are just a few of the additional amenities provided. Kickback, relax, and enjoy everything Rockport and our bungalow has to offer!

7 min walk to MBTA (easy to take to Salem, Ma!)

Kitchen is fully equipped with dishware, utensils, appliances, etc.

There are 2 private parking spots on the premise in front of the home.

We loved our stay here. It's a perfect spot! Close to all the restaurants, galleries and shops in Bear Skin Neck but tucked away in a private setting. The hosts are amazing. We had everything we needed, and they made us feel completely welcome and at home. We will definitely stay again in the future.

Charming is a great description of this bungalow! This house is a bibliophile's dream - a library with a vast and varied collection of books, and a delightful overstuffed recliner that is the perfect place to sit and read. If you can tear yourself away from the books, there is a lovely pool in the back yard waiting for you! The house looks is actually very roomy inside, nicely decorated, comfy beds, a well stocked kitchen, convenient location, and a short walk to the beach. We LOVED it!!

We both grew up and live just outside of Boston. We met when we were in highschool and married in Gloucester in 2017 by Niles Beach on Eastern Point Blvd. Mike is a firefighter and carpenter, Christine is a dental assistant and personal trainer. We both love working out, walking our dog Arnold, trying new restaurants, traveling and home design. We bought and renovated our first rental in Gloucester in 2021 and are looking forward to making this property our own! We love wowing our guests and giving them the best experience possible. Positive feedback is the greatest gift!

Why they chose this property

What we love about this property and this neighborhood is that it’s quiet, off the main street-but yet so close to all that Rockport has to offer! The park, the beach & Bearskin Neck are all within walking distance! There is a cut through at the end of what seems like a dead end street to get you there quicker.

What makes this property unique

The property is more than meets the eye! Past guests have loved the library and the large in-ground pool in the sunny backyard! To be able to choose between Front Beach and your own private pool is rare in Rockport. We also added a fireplace to the living room which makes for a super cozy fall and winter visit.
