Check-out instructions

The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Strip any used beds and gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights
It would be very helpful if you could start the washing machine before you leave, add a little fabric softener to the towels and sheets so they smell fresh and bit of bleach for the white linens
We’d really appreciate it if you could take out the trash.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

This is a nice quiet, safe place to stay. Nice table outside and dock to facilitate outdoor relaxation.Beautiful kitchen but no dishwasher. The Tvs in every room are amazing. Lots of free content. Driveway to front door was great for easy loading and unloading of luggage.

The kitchen is brand new everything, missing a few helpful rental things for anyone that wants to cook here. The 5 HUGE tvs are a little unnecessary. Mattresses are not clean in the least, stains, and not comfortable. Maybe invest in mattresses over tvs. Maybe invest in some window coverings as well. The bedroom beside the bathroom needs curtains. The neighbors flood lights and pool lights come on and off all night. Also maybe clear the photo history on the info screen, some are a little crud. I think the back patio was nice.

No thanks. Look at the pictures! I’m only giving 2 stars because the kitchen was new and it was more or less affordable for a 3-bedroom house. But we’re definitely not coming back. The house has a garage-like feeling — cold and full of little spiders. It felt more like “easy to clean” than comfortable. But it wasn’t clean. I almost fainted when I tried to remove the sheets before we left. The mattresses are OUT OF CONTROL! You have to change them! Disgusting. I would have left if I had seen them earlier!Dirt in every corner, spiders, dirty dishes and bed covers full of stains, no coffee mugs, not enough pillows with covers when we arrived (I had to sneak around to find an extra one in one of the closets), only 4 bath towels for 5 guests, no hand towels or washcloths, no wine glasses — but a dirty grill — etc., etc.! And that weird extra room in the garage… strange.Maybe you should have focused more on details and CLEAN mattresses instead of a 90-inch TV screen in every single bedroom. No, I don’t want to reach out to the property manager. I expect you to do your job before guests arrive.

About the host

Hosted by Charles

Host profile image
My name is Charles and I'll be your dedicated host during your stay.
Originally from Pennsylvania, after living in the Carolina's for a decade I moved to Hudson in 2015.
Through my background in hospitality, I discovered a true desire for enabling exceptional guest experiences.
I look forward to helping make your visit enjoyable. Please reach out anytime I may be of service.

Why they chose this property

While searching for my home in Hudson I discovered this area west of US 19 along what is referred to as the Gulf Nature Coast and was immediately drawn to the lifestyle of having easy access to the Gulf, literally from my backyard. Boating, fishing, and watersports are a daily lifestyle and if being on the water isn't your style, relaxing by the water and the excitement of watching dolphins and manatees pass by while enjoying visits from our unique population of sea life is certainly a pleasure.

What makes this property unique

Staying on a canal with direct access to the Gulf is certainly unique. Combined with easy access to award winning white sand beaches to the south and amazing nature preserves to the north, the location offers serenity with convenience.
