Liked: Check-in, communication, location
Disliked: Cleanliness
We liked the property as the location was convenient and easy to get to. The communication from the host was good but several items were not disclosed until the day before rental, specifically what was expected when bringing pets and the well water. The day before, we were informed that certain breeds were not accepted and the dogs were not to be left alone in the cabin. Both items should have been disclosed at the time of rental as it was something we really should have been informed about, 24 hours notice for this is not acceptable when bringing pets. We were also informed that the cabin uses well water and water usage must be limited. This left us with no idea of how much water we could use. Also, the cabin was not well cleaned. Many areas in the cabin looked like they hadn't been dusted in weeks. I did let the host know and she said it would be taken care of. We were also sent a message the day before check-out asking us to start up the laundry before we left, which was a first for me.
