We enjoyed this house some much the first time we decided to come back. This is our 2nd time we have stayed here in the last 6 months. It is so quiet because the house is out in the countryside but still only 10-15 mins away from everything. It was only 15-20 mins away from a handful of distilleries. Looking forward to returning again. Thank you.
We traveled with three other couple's. Very nice private property that is within 30 minutes or less of everything we were wanting to do (Keenland, Castle and Key, Buffalo Trace). I highly recommend this property, and the other couples will too. Thanks again Julie!

Glad y'all had a great time. We love that our property is close to everything central Kentucky has to offer! Come back anytime!
The house was exactly as described, very clean, and we loved the covered area where the fire pit was located at. We rented this house for a long weekend for a birthday trip to bourbon country. It was about 20 min drive to multiple distilleries in the area. 100% recommend this property for a peaceful getaway since it is on multiple acres and it seems like you are in the middle of nowhere when you are really just minutes away from everything. We are already looking forward to our next trip to back to this property.
Overall, our stay was enjoyable. The house was clean, inviting and spacious enough for the four of us to each have our own space, which we really appreciated. However, we did experience a few hiccups. We were initially given the wrong entry code, so we had to call to get the correct one upon arrival. There were a few maintenance issues- specially, the bathroom door in the downstairs bedroom didn't latch properly, which was a bit frustrating. The outdoor light on the back patio was quite dim, making it too dark to comfortably sit outside and play cards in the evening as we hoped. The welcome packet stated that the thermostat was located in the living room, but it was actually upstairs, which caused some confusion. That said, we really appreciated that the air conditioning was already on when we arrived- the house was cool and comfortable, which was a nice touch not often seen in other rentals. One minor comfort issue was the lack of usable pillows- there were plenty of decorative pillows, but they weren't very comfortable for sleeping, so we ended up borrowing pillows from other rooms. It would have been nice to have at least one more TV upstairs, as well as a couple extra washcloths or kitchen towels.Lastly, the outdoor garbage bins at the end of the driveway were full when we arrived and had a strong odor, which made that area unpleasant. Despite these few issues, we did enjoy our time and appreciated the overall comfort and cleanliness of the home.
This was a beautiful house on a wonderful lot. We truly loved our morning sun rises with coffee and enjoyed some games at night. It was a great weekend!!
