Hutchinson Island beaches are 3 minutes by car or a 10-minute bike ride, and the garage is stocked with kayaks, bikes and beach gear for guests to use. A king bedroom, queen bedroom and sofa bed sleep 6, with a full kitchen, fast Wi-Fi, laundry and parking for 3 cars. Shared pool, gazebo and grills out back.

Welcome to Sea Breeze Retreat. The whole upstairs of the duplex is yours: an open living and dining area, a full kitchen with everything you need to cook a real dinner, and two bedrooms at opposite ends for privacy.

Set up for real trips, not just weekends. Fast Wi-Fi and a dedicated workspace if you're stretching a beach week into a work week. In-unit laundry so you're not driving home with a bag of wet swimsuits. Driveway parking for up to 3 vehicles — park on the left side in front.

The backyard catches the breeze. It comes straight off Hutchinson Island, and it's the reason people end up spending the whole evening at the gazebo instead of inside. Enjoy your private balcony. Shared pool, charcoal and gas grills, outdoor seating and an outdoor shower for rinsing off the sand.

What's around you · Frederick Douglass Memorial Park — one of the only beaches in Florida where you can ride a horse on the sand. Guided beach tours run year-round; it's the thing guests tell their friends about when they get home. · Fishing charters, boat tours and marinas — the inlet puts you minutes from some of the best offshore fishing on the Atlantic coast. · Parasailing and kitesurfing — steady coastal wind makes this stretch a favorite. · Waterfront restaurants — dinner with your feet practically in the water, a few minutes up the road.

Traveling with a bigger group? Both units and the entire outdoor area can be rented together as a full home, subject to availability — just ask and we'll check.

Note this is the upper unit, so there's a flight of stairs to the entry.

The garage is the good part. It's stocked and open to you: kayaks, bikes, beach chairs, beach gear, card games and board games. Take the kayaks out on the Indian River Lagoon to look for manatees and dolphins or ride the bikes to the sand in about 10 minutes.

Out back, you'll share the pool, gazebo, outdoor seating, charcoal and gas grills, and the outdoor shower with the guests in the downstairs unit but you have your own balcony. The pool is open 24 hours with toys in it, and it isn't heated — refreshing in summer, brisk in January.

A couple of practical notes: the garage holds amenities only, so it's not available for parking, and a few storage areas stay locked for maintenance. If you bring a dog, keep them leashed in the shared outdoor spaces.

We are available through the VRBO app before and during your stay for any questions, recommendations, or assistance you may need. Self-check-in instructions and access codes will be provided prior to arrival. For safety and security purposes, guests are required to provide the names of all individuals staying at the property before check-in!

This is the upstairs unit of a duplex. The backyard, pool, gazebo, grills and outdoor shower are shared with the downstairs guests. The pool is not heated. The garage stores amenities and is not available for parking. We'll ask for the names of everyone staying before check-in. Checking out is easy: towels in the laundry area, trash out, A/C to 75°F, doors locked. Kayaks, bikes and beach gear are used at your own risk — please wear the life vests provided.
