Two-Story Downtown Home with King Bed and Private Parking

Park in the spot that is yours alone and walk out into downtown: coffee at Loyal and dinner on Tejon are five minutes on foot, and the Pikes Peak region opens up from there. This two-level home is built for two. Upstairs is a king bedroom under exposed beams and a kitchen with a dishwasher, electric range, coffee and tea, and a table for four. Downstairs is where the evening lands, a living room with an electric fireplace, a smart TV, and a queen sofa bed, plus a full bath with a walk-in shower.

Honest notes: the central staircase is steep and narrow and is not suitable for limited mobility. There is no central air, cooling is a window AC unit plus plug-in fans, so the home is at its best autumn through spring. It is compact and best for two. No laundry in the unit, though a laundromat is on the block. Quiet hours 10 PM.

On the southern edge of downtown, a block or two off S Tejon Street and directly across from the police headquarters, which is what makes leaving a car out overnight a non-issue.
