Your cozy beach cottage in Kill Devil Hills with 3 bedrooms and 2 baths plus an outdoor shower awaits you. This adorable retreat features a king bed, full bed, and queen bed to ensure a perfect night's sleep for all guests. Just 5 short blocks to the ocean and 6 blocks to the sound. Easy access to the Bay Drive bike and walking path. Lots of restaurants (including the Jolly Roger and Captain George's) within a couple miles. Lots of family activities and shopping close by. We feature our favorite activities and restaurants on our message board in the kitchen. For those days when the weather doesn't cooperate, there are lots of family friendly games available for your use. We provide basic cable to all of our smart televisions, however, if you wish to use streaming services, you will need to sign in to your account (we are not responsible for any charges in the event you fail to log out of your account). Your home away from home is ready for you to create lasting memories.

I am new to VRBO but have listed my property with local agencies for the past four years. I purchased the house to be my home when I am able to retire and set it up with that in mind. I love to bake and made sure I had everything I would need to follow my passion. For those days at the beach when you get home too tired to cook, throw something in the crock pot before you leave and relax when you get back knowing dinner is done. I love having a garage to store all our gear when in residence. Plenty of room for all your beach and fishing supplies.
Why they chose this property
I chose this neighborhood for its proximity to the beach and the beautiful sunsets on the Sound. My home is situated in the middle of the island so have minimal risk of flooding and are close to everything. There is a boat landing almost directly behind us on the Sound and the biking/walking path down Bay Drive is super convenient.
What makes this property unique
This is not your typical stylized vacation rental. This is a home away from home. I hope that you feel at home the moment you walk in the door into our comfy living and dining combination and see the updated very spacious kitchen.
