This renovated, fully furnished beach cottage is in Kill Devil Hills. Quick and easy access to Albemarle Sound and OBX beaches, Wright Brothers Memorial and numerous restaurants & entertainment venues for the whole family. Two bedrooms, each with a queen size bed covered in amazing pillows and smooth, soft linens, one has a walkout to the rear deck with lower level access. Large Sony TV, free WiFi, Blu-ray player with APPs to log in to your favorite sites like Netflix/Amazon/Hulu, etc, cable and a large lounging couch that provides additional sleeping space. The kitchen includes a refrigerator, stove, microwave, coffee maker, dishes, glassware, bake ware and dishwasher. There is an outdoor shower with hot and cold water, washer and dryer for your convenience and four beach cruiser bicycles to enjoy the sunshine while you check out the island. There is a front deck with built in seating and a gas grill, perfect to catch the island cross breezes and relax. Everything is set up to make the most of your vacation time and get into island time mode!

Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Please move trash can to the street before you checkout. Trash days are now Tuesdays and Fridays so you can have it picked up during your stay too
Guests should leave the house as clean as it was for check-in. No sand, dirty dishes, dirty oven etc There will be an additional charge withheld. TY

Siren Sound is a really nice house to stay in. It is clean and charming. It’s a short drive to the beach or sound side of the island. We really enjoyed the stay while we toured the islands.

We had a great stay. The house was perfect for our family of 4. We loved having the washer and dryer as well as a well stocked kitchen. The outdoor shower was handy along with the beach chairs. Communication was perfect.

This was the 2nd summer in a row we returned to this property. We loved it so much last year that we HAD to return! Perfect location, great owners, so many accomodations and amenities, beautiful beach house.. all for a great price! I highly recommend this property!

Very nice cottage

Very clean and homey place. We really enjoyed staying here. It is not too far away from the beach and we were also able to ride bikes to Duck donuts and some other local spots. We would stay here again.

OBX Beach get away

Just a 12 min walk to the beach where you can stay for hours. House was spacious, clean, comfortable and inviting. Front and back deck are perfect for morning coffee. Lots of restaurants and shops to visit. Just don't forget to bring your towels.

A week at the beach!

What a wonderful place! We enjoyed our week being soooo close to so many places- grocery stores, souvenir shops, the beach, the sound, Jockeys Ridge, etc. The house was VERY clean. We would definitely stay at this home again!

We are beach lovers ourselves and have raised 6 children that all have a love for the outdoors. It is our desire to provide you with the perfect place to stay while you re-energize and enjoy your time in the Outer Banks. Find your inner pirate or mermaid while you stay in our tranquil retreat.

Why they chose this property

The perfect place to relax, recharge and enjoy your vacation in one of the most comfortable cottages on the island. One of the owners grew up along the Gulf of Mexico and always found solace while taking in the fresh salt air. She spent much of her childhood running along the shoreline, hunting for shells and body surfing the crystal clear waves in FL. It was love at first site for this perfect cottage. The other owner spent most of his adult life sailing seas around the world. The owners and their family have created the perfect place for guests to enjoy all that the island has to offer.

What makes this property unique

This great cottage has easy access to OBX beaches and the Albemarle Sound. There is parking in the front for a boat or jet ski if you choose to bring one with you. There is free access to the sound with boat ramps. You can park underneath the house and there is plenty of space to pull up a chair and relax in the shade. Sunsets are gorgeous here and everything about Siren Sound will make you want to come back again and again!
