Awesome and great location!!
We stayed here for 8 days in Feb 2014 to visit our son and the place was perfect. Location was awesome! We enjoyed our morning walks into town for our coffee. The place had a very cozy feel and was furnished with everything you need. Have to visit the Gondola Italian Restaurant just a few blocks down the street near the water...you wont be disapointed. Absolutely the BEST food!!! The owner was very good in communicating with us prior to our trip and we contacted him during oiur stay once as we had a problem with the TV and he was very prompt and took care of things in an instant. Definately would recommend and stay here again.

Firstly to have two bedrooms. for two people was good, enough space to move around. The bathroom was tiny and cramped, nowhere to hang wet bath towels if hand towel was on the hooks provided. Kitchen, although there was a lot of stuff in the kitchen I went and bought my own sharp knife, some tea towels and a plastic chopping board. The tea towels provided did not smell fresh. Mismatched crockery and cutlery. The bed was not comfortable, that mattress needs replacing for something softer and better!!The blinds in the bedroom don't reach the sill and the curtains are super light, difficult to sleep. The neighbors sharing the wall to the main bedroom decided bank holiday weekend was party time so the noise was awful, loud talking, kids crying, dogs barking, music playing all night and I mean all night till the morning both Friday and Saturday nightThe passageway to get into the place is grubby and the little piece of garden is a mess, you could not sit on the "chairs" provided. We always managed to get street parking near the flat. I don't feel the flat matched the description on Stayz.

Thanks for taking the time to give your comments. Sorry you were disturbed two of the nights by noise. We rarely hear the neighbours day or night. It must have been a very special occasion, a wedding perhaps? The slightly firmer mattress was purchased a year ago after comments that the previous one was too soft!
Could not have asked for a better experience. The flat was on the second floor, had a private entrance (with the BEST Harry Potter key), lovely clean rooms and space, fully equipped kitchen and laundry. Absolutely cute. Wonderful property manager- Trevor is delightful! Would absolutely recommend.

nice and comfortable - schön und gemütlich
Thanks Trevor,
we enjoyed our stay.
Special thanks for Your detailed instructions on the technical equipment like TV and water/heating sytem. Everything we've used worked fine, Internet, tv, toaster, fridge, water....
There was always a parking space on the road in front.
Rooms are clean, comfortable and cosy.
We also enjoyed the layed-back style of the garden, good for a morning coffee, when weather is fine.
Train and bus stations are within walking range. (last train back from Edinburgh about 23:00)
Kirkcaldy is a perfect base for excursions in the kingdom of fife area, and offers some own jewels as well. Restaurants, pubs, parks, castle, beach, even bring in service, everything available and worth your time.
We really had a great time there.
Thanks so much,

Holiday Kiirkcaldily
The rate was based on our vote among all three members of the family : the son (aged 13) said Good because he found the space is not big enough, me and my wife have all rated it excellent.
The entire area though not spacious it is clean, cozy and decent enough for a family of four with luxury and handy of internet from VirginMedia and house PC. The biggest advantages is its central location but far away from busy road so to enjoy the early morning quietness however only a 5 - 10 minutes walking distance to all the major amenities such as parks, supermarket, rail station, local theater, museums and library. The use of this as a base and to access to St Andrews, Edinburgh and some of the fishing villages are highly recommended, Other than the cold and unpredictable weather in Scotland, we found our stay was one of the most memorable and enjoyable holidays.
Some points maybe useful for other holiday makers :
1) The disposal collection is on Wednesday morning and all dwellers should move the dust bin outside and place it on the pavement easy to access for environmental workers.
2) The road side parking you should avoid using the boxed area which are designated for disabled.
