About this property

COMFORTABLE LAKE ESCAPE PERFECT FOR FAMILIES, FISHERMAN, BIRDERS & SHOOTERS

STARBOARD LOFT

The bedroom on the main level has a queen sized bed, it's own private balcony with a view of the lake. The sleeping loft has a king sized bed, twin bunkbed, sky light, TV, and plenty of room for games. The living area has a cathedral ceiling with sliding door to covered rear balcony, large flat screen TV, blu ray player and eat in kitchenette for meals and conversation. The kitchen is well stocked with cooking items and utensils. It has all of the conveniences needed such as a microwave, coffee maker and a dishwasher. Exterior charcoal grill is available. Down the hall from the kitchen you will find the main bathroom with a tub and shower. The bathroom is stocked with fresh linens and essentials for your use. There is also a washer and dryer to make your stay as easy as possible. As nice as the inside is, you will probably spend most of your time out on the open air main balcony off of the living area. This is always the favorite hang out and features a spiral staircase to the ground level. The balcony features a Marblehead Lighthouse replica and is well furnished. You can wake up with that morning cup of coffee as the swans swim by or have that nightcap while the boaters arrive back from a day on the lake. The condo has all of the comforts of home - wifi, cable tv, and games to help entertain. Community pool, tennis and basketball courts are available to guests. We also have some fun extras that include movies and board games. We have done our best to maximize every inch of our space with you in mind.

Master suite, first floor bath and living, sleeping loft, comfortable patio decks.

30' floating dock is available with power and water. Use of dock requires submission of proof of watercraft insurance and a $15 processing/sticker fee. Permit sticker must be displayed on boat while docked at the condo. Two parking spaces are available at unit with additional on premise parking available. Boat trailers cannot be parked anywhere on Canada Goose. Please make arrangements to store your trailer at Wild Wings or another nearby marina.

This unit is on the second floor with a loft and adequate space at 950 square feet. Close to fishing charters, Put-in-Bay, Port Clinton, Camp Perry, Ottawa Wildlife refuge, Cedar Point, Catawba Island and many other attractions.

Great spot for fishing or birding

Went bird watching and this was a perfect place to stay. Next year I’ll spend a day fishing because of the many charter boats right there. Check-in was simple and condo was clean and ready for us. It had everything I needed.

Summer family vacation

We enjoyed our stay. Location was nice. Loved seeing wild life from the balcony. On hot days it was warm even with air. We bought a fan for the master on our stay. Owner answered any questions we had before the trip. Even sent us a toy my daughter forget. Overall our trip was nice

Very lovely place to stay while we fished Lake Erie. Very well stocked and had everything we could have needed. My only complaints would be a more comfortable bed in the main floor bedroom only because we have some back issues. Also, a TV would have been nice in that same room as well.

Very Nice House

The house was clean and had plenty of space. Bed's were comfy too. It was nice to sit out on the living room deck and enjoy the bird calls. We stayed here so we could be close to the shore and the birdwatching for Biggest Week in American Birding. It was only 5 miles from Magee Marsh Ottawa NWR. Perfect! And was close enough for us to come back to the house for lunch.

Great place to relax. Husband avid fisherman hasn’t fished for years had the best time at Fisherman’s Wharf in Port Clinton. They do social distancing on their headboats. The only downside was all the steps. We are in our 70s. Killed my knees!

Oak Harbor condo

My family and I had a great time at the condo. Everything was as described in the listing and the place was very clean and well maintained. We loved having our boat just steps out the back door. Definitely bring bug spray, the mosquitoes are active being right next to the water. We lost power the morning of our last day which made checking out a little hectic but all in all a very nice stay at Laura’s condo. We would stay again. Also, the neighbors are very friendly as well. I recommend a trip over to Put-In-Bay, it’s a cool island town and we enjoyed our time there.

Very quaint and clean

The owners were great and the condo was so clean and welcoming! We are definitely willing to go back! The only issue we had (at no fault of the owners) was how many bugs there were and how many dead bugs were also all around. You couldn't help but to step on them and then they made crunching sounds which was kind of gross.

Owners are awesome!!

We piled 8 of us in, 5 in the loft, 2 in the bedroom, and 1 on the couch. But we didn't feel like we were on top of each other. The pool was great, the deck was a great place to hang out and chat over an iced tea, and the water off the back porch was a great place to drop in a line and catch bass and blue gill. But the best part of the experience was the owners. You can never guarantee that nothing will go wrong or break down, but how they are handled and corrected makes a big difference. Jim was there when we arrived, following up on a few things that needed attention, and he was very responsive for anything we needed. The kitchen is well stocked with all the pots/pans/utensils you'll need. Thanks for everything guys!!

Great, relaxing, condo

This is the second time we have stayed here. The condo is in a perfect location for my son who shoots at Camp Perry. My mother-in-law also accompanied us on the trip. The condo is clean, and has plenty of room for everyone. The condo has a relaxing deck that looks over the marina. We spent a lot of time relaxing and catching up on the deck. Laura and Jim were always quick to respond if I had a question. We look forward to returning again.

Small but comfortable

The property was small but everything worked. The owner was there for us if we needed anything. The only thing we should have brought with us was a kettle to make tea that was lacking. The appliances were a bit underpowered. Other than those two items it was overall a good experience.

We consider ourselves so fortunate to own this wonderful property on the lake. We chose this location based on it's proximity to Toledo and the attractions to the east. We have found this location to be the best spot on Our Great Lake. We hope you agree!
