The Space:

Discover the charm of the Hideaway Cottage, a unique two-level private stone retreat designed for comfort and relaxation. The entire space is equipped with air conditioning and heating for your year-round comfort.



Main Level:

• Living Area: Relax on a large grey sectional sofa and watch a movie on the TV.

• Kitchenette: Equipped for light meals with a Keurig coffee maker (complimentary coffee), air fryer, microwave, and mini-fridge.

• Full Bathroom: A modern bathroom with a walk-in shower and starter toiletries.



Lower Level:

• Bedroom: Accessed via a unique spiral staircase, this cozy room features two full-sized beds with wrought iron headboards, room-darkening shades, an armoire, and a dresser for storage.



Guest Access:

Guests will enjoy complete and private access to the entire two-level Hideaway Cottage.



• Private entrance for total privacy.

• Self check-in with a secure smart lock system, allowing you to arrive at your leisure anytime after check-in.



You are also welcome to use the shared central courtyard, which includes:

Getting around Hideaway Cottage is easy! We offer free on-site parking for our guests. Public transportation options are limited in Banner Elk, North Carolina. The cottage is a short drive from local attractions and the town center. The closest major airport is Charlotte Douglas International Airport (CLT), about a 2.5-hour drive away. Consider renting a car to explore the surrounding areas and enjoy a scenic drive through the North Carolina mountains.



Other Things to Note:

• Property Layout: The Hideaway Cottage is one of three separate rental cottages on the property. All three cottages share access to the central courtyard, fire pit, and BBQ area.

• Bedroom Accessibility: Please be aware that the bedroom is on the lower level. Access requires a degree of mobility, as it is reached via a narrow internal spiral staircase or an external set of stone steps. The main living area, kitchenette, and bathroom are all on the entry-level floor.

• Laundry: For your convenience, a laundromat is located nearby.
