My husband and I had a wonderful relaxing time. The cabin is very quaint and unique. We thoroughly enjoyed our time. The area is gorgeous. Our host responded quickly to all our questions.
We enjoyed our time in the quaint cabin. The location is ideally located in Banner Elk and convenient to Grandfather Mtn, Blowing Rock and Boone. The cabin is comfortably furnished with everything guests would need. In this cabins case rustic included slanted floors, a front porch in need of some small repairs, and towels which have seen their day and then some. Overall, we would describe the cabin as ‘perfectly imperfect’.
Excellent location!! The property is absolutely charming and is every thing you could want from 170 year old log cabin. So close to Grandfather Mountain. We loved sitting by the gas fireplace. The screened in porch was an excellent place to eat dinner. Had an issue with streaming services on the TV but the host responded immediately and worked with us to get the matter resolved so we could watch our favorite shows after exploring Boone, Blowing Rock, and Banner Elk. Would definitely stay again!
Such a cozy place to stay! The perfect place to come back to after exploring the mountains. Loved the screened in porch and fire pit in the back. Would definitely come back again!
Loved the cabin and appreciate the care that it takes to keep up such a piece of history. It was per the description, clean, cozy, rustic, adequate. I would stay here again.
The cabin is cozy and we especially liked the location. Convenient to the highway but back in the trees enough to make it seem we were in the woods. Also enjoyed the screened back porch and the fire pit.
The cabin the adorable they weather was so cold it caused a few issues. This charming little home has so much character and great views of Grandfather Mountain. The hosts were very helpful and communicated appropriately. Such a great week celebrating my hubby's birthday while visiting our boys in college.
