The cabin was very clean perfect temperature in the cabin everything you need in the kitchen great water pressure in the bathroom the chairs pull out in the living room so you can stretch your legs nice path to the dock good fishing off the dock we didn’t have a boat so we shore fishedThere was a black bear wandering by the boat launch but it didn’t bother anybody great time there and not far from downtown Hayward

We traveled from California to Northern Wisconsin to visit family, and this rental was a delightful find. The cabin is a really cute little house across from the lake. The house is older, but very clean and comfortable. The owners clearly take pride in their rental. Beds were fantastic. Washer and dryer (look brand new) was an added bonus; sitting out on the front deck was incredibly relaxing, and we saw the most phenomenal fireworks show over the lake for the 4th of July that we’ve ever seen. Boat ramp is right there if you are a fisherman! Supper clubs within a short drive. Just a marvelous time. We would definitely rent again!

We spend as much time as we can in the Hayward area with our family, enjoying everything that comes with Wisconsin’s changing seasons - from summer lake days, boating, fishing, and campfires to fall hikes and beautiful scenery, and winter days spent snowmobiling and ice fishing.

We especially love hosting at this cabin because it has the cozy feel and old-time charm of a classic Northwoods fishing cabin, while still offering the modern comforts and thoughtful touches we’ve added along the way. It’s simple, comfortable, and full of character - the kind of place that makes you want to slow down, kick your feet up, and stay awhile.

We love sharing this little piece of the Northwoods with others and hope it gives our guests a comfortable place to enjoy the outdoors, explore Hayward, and make great memories of their own. As hosts, we want you to feel at home and have everything you need for an easy, relaxing stay!
