Ocean View Dog Friendly Cottage 4-min to Kennebunkport

This spacious and delightful cottage was once the barn of this 1910 property. It was converted to a home in the 1960's and then fully remodeled in 2000 with wide pumpkin pine plank floors and an open post and beam ceiling, with a modern bathroom and kitchen. It features a second floor California King bedroom with ocean, marsh and river views, a cozy chair and ottoman for reading, and a desk workspace outside the bedroom if you need to check in while traveling. The bathroom is has a beautifully tiled glass door front shower. There is a charming living room with a comfy foldout couch, and large Smart TV. Guests can enjoy amenities like mini split AC, full kitchen, high-speed Wi-Fi, and an outdoor patio with firepit, or Adirondack chairs for hanging out with a glass of wine while you enjoy the sunset over the marsh, or brilliant stargazing. We look forward to welcoming you to our intimate ocean view cottage, minutes from Kennebunk beaches and Kennebunkport's Dock square.

Property was very clean and stocked well. We really appreciated the beach equipment for our beach day and the firewood for relaxing at night. It is conveniently located to the Kennebunk/kennebunkport shops and restaurants.Check in was smooth and quick and the owners were very easy to communicate with and accommodating. Also loved that it was dog friendly!

We enjoyed our stay at The Cottage. The accommodations were great! We enjoyed our walks in the Rachel Carson National Wildlife Refuge. Easy access to several beaches. Easy to navigate the Kennebunk area. We appreciated being able to bring our two little dogs (Johnny and Christopher). We would highly recommend staying at the Cottage! In fact, we hope to stay there again!!!

Very clean, and such a great location and views. Loved having Adirondack chairs and fire pit, but forgot mosquito spray (a must!). Nice touch was a bottle of wine waiting in fridge upon arrival. VERY comfortable bed and a king! Found myself wishing for a more comfortable place in living room to lounge. Wonderful and cute space and would 100% stay again.

The cottage was very clean and comfy, the perfect size for a couple (and a dog). Loved having views of the marsh across the street. The hosts were quick to respond to our questions. We loved being able to ride bikes to the quiet, beautiful Parsons Beach just down the road, and it was nice to only be a few miles outside of town as well. The trails at the preserve next door were perfect for walking our dog and bird watching, too! (We also admired the solar panel out back!) Would definitely recommend the cottage, we hope to come back!
