Originally from DC area. We served our government and country. Enjoy traveling but always call Florida our home now. Please enjoy your stay and thanks for choosing the cottage!
Why they chose this property
It chose us actually. We did much care for other areas as we looked and this home just kept popping up. We had vacationed here for years with Disney and Wachiva Springs so close, it was well overdue to buy a home. This little cottage found our gaze and kept it.
What makes this property unique
Much like people; extremely unique in character and dimensions; so too are the homes of downtown Mount Dora. The cottage restoration is not extravagant but 5 blocks from downtown and an easy 7 minute walk. Serenity Cottage is uniquely comfortable and colorful with useful areas both inside and out that encourage further thought and interaction. Perhaps that is the uniqueness; to encourage old fashioned interaction- be it a puzzle, a card game or some shuffle board!
