We had a great experience staying here. The mattresses and pillows were super comfortable, plenty of towels, a washer and dryer on site, and very convenient to the park and train. We really appreciated how easy the host was to work with.
Amazing find in a space that overload 3 different unique neighborhoods in Brooklyn. Easy experience dealing w Thom with easy check in. For a great experience where you feel in your own space in Brooklyn, this is it!
The flat is pet friendly and overall had a clean and welcoming atmosphere. I do wish there was a couch to sit on and proper curtains, as the flat is right across the street from night life. Being close to the subway terminal and delicious eats was a plus.
Spacious apartment in a great location right across the street from the subway, next to Prospect Park, and walking distance to the museum, botanical gardens, restaurants, and other attractions. Communication was clear and prompt, and the property matched the appearance and description. Great find!
Received check in information the day off. Check in was easy. Place is located very close to the subway and there are shops near by. Bed was comfortable. It’s an older apartment building so a few things come with that including some street noise and noise from upstairs neighbors. Overall, a good place to stay especially for families.
The apartment is a lovely 2 bed, it feels like you’re living in Brooklyn instead of visiting. It’s within walking distance of Prospect park, and there is a lot to do in the area! Thom was incredibly helpful and attentive, and the check in and check out process were easy. It’s pet friendly which is a bonus when traveling with cats! Thank you for sharing your space.
Thom was very helpful and responsive. Good location. Close to subway, grocery store, and restaurants. Great to have a washer and dryer. The place was spacious and the bed was comfortable. The living room did not have a comfortable place to sit. There was a broken chair and another chair. We never did find the couch or easy chair pictured in the ad.

Property is not at the address advertised. Furniture in the picture is not in the rooms. Broken wooden chairs replaced the couch in photo. It was an embarrassment to my guests.
Overall, we had a good stay. The apartment felt very much like staying at a friend’s house—comfortable, lived-in, and full of character. Check-in was a little rocky, but after that everything went smoothly. The space was clean and clutter-free, though not deeply cleaned. The fridge had leftover food and the kitchen setup felt eclectic rather than a typical rental, which was convenient but a bit unexpected. There were lots of kids’ books, clean towels, and a charming 1920s bathroom. The beds were extremely comfortable.Sleep was the biggest challenge. Street noise was loud at night and streetlights shined into the main bedroom all night—blackout curtains would help a lot. There was also a noticeable food smell. Tom was very helpful and checked in during our stay.Overall, it met our needs and offered a very authentic NYC living experience, but lighter sleepers should be aware of the noise and light.
