The unit we initially reserved had an unexpected maintenance issue the day of our arrival. The host Toby immediate informed us and offered another unit a few blocks from the original. This was very close in amenities to the one we reserved. My family and I enjoyed the comfort of the beds, the large walk in shower, and close access to the subway. We would definitely recommend his properties and would stay again on our next trip.

Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, location
Disliked: Listing accuracy
I booked this property because it said to have 2 bedrooms and a laundry. The day of arrival, I got a phone call that moved us into a “similar” property due to a water leakage in the original apt. The bedrooms were as described but there was no laundry and no soap provided in the bathroom. When I contacted the host, they said there was no laundry in any of the apartments they’re renting. I felt like the listing was misleading. They did bring us a 3-in-1 soap/shampoo/conditioner the next day. Luckily there was a laundromat right across the street from the apt where I could do some laundry albeit the inconvenience and extra money. When we were there, there was a guy working on the staircase/hallway and on the third night, the light in the hallway didn’t work so we had to use our phone’s flashlight to climb the stairs. The instruction to get the key and the code to the apt was clear. I didn’t get any instruction to connect to the internet but got the info from the modem that was in the room. I messaged the host for the check-out instructions but didn’t receive any response. The location was pretty convenient to use the public transportation. The bus stop was right in front of the apt and the subway station was about 10 mins walk from it.Overall, the apartment was clean. The bathroom was pretty small. Host did provide towels. One last thing, wished they were some hangers provided in the closets. I felt like the apt was not ready for rent but we got put there as a replacement apt.
