Whether you're planning a ski weekend with friends, a summer hiking trip, or a quiet escape with family, our Catskills cabin was made for slowing down and spending time together. Start your mornings with coffee on the deck overlooking the mountains, spend the day exploring nearby trails or golfing or skiing, then come home to the hot tub, a crackling fire, and dinner with everyone gathered around one table.
We've worked hard to make this place perfect for gatherings of all types: making breakfast in the ample kitchen, grilling on the back deck, relaxing around an evening fire, playing lawn games, or watching the big game upstairs, there is something for everyone.
The heart of the cabin is the open living area, where everyone naturally ends up after a day outside. The natural wood interior, oversized stone fireplace, comfortable seating, and fully equipped kitchen make it easy to cook together, play games, watch movies, or simply relax with a drink while the fire crackles.
Outside, you'll find even more places to gather—from the spacious Trex deck and hot tub to the fire pit overlooking the Hudson Valley below. Whether you're grilling dinner, watching the sunset, or enjoying coffee before the rest of the house wakes up, the outdoors will become your favorite part of the living space.
Only 10 minutes from the pubs, shops, and farmers markets of Windham with access to a main road, this house is also perfectly secluded and enjoys incredible quietude on the side of Mt. Pisgah, surrounded by thick forest and rolling countryside.
Inside, find a fully stocked kitchen (including spices, coffee, and other essentials) and wood-burning majestic stone fireplace. Four bedrooms with queen-size memory foam beds (one of which has a twin bed bunked above it) and fresh organic cotton linens will easily accommodate you and your friends. Two charming bathrooms offer updated rain head showers. A wood stove in the upstairs primary bedroom provides a warm and romantic ambiance. Enjoy a home-cooked meal in the stunning window-filled dining room which easily seats your whole group.
Upstairs, guests enjoy a TV Room with plush oversized couches. There are comfortable and lovingly maintained furnishings, beds and linens throughout the house.
There are incredible hiking, biking, skiing and countless other activities in the area. We have a list of our favorite things to do nearby that we can provide upon booking.
Some things to note:
(1) Check out is at 11:00am, unless we give prior written approval of a later check-out. This is to allow a proper cleaning before the next guests arrive.
(2) For summer renters, please note that the house does not have air conditioning. The cabin is situated on the side of a mountain which is usually 10 or 15 degrees cooler than the valley floor. There are ceiling fans throughout the house.
(3) The basement houses our laundry facilities and bike and ski workshop, all of which are open to guests' use. But please do not try to drive cars down the slope to the doors, as the ground is soft most of the year. Please only park in the designated area.
(4) Use of the hot tub and fire pit are at guests' own risk.
We love our home and want to be upfront with our guests. We hope you will come and love it as much as we do!
