Hidden gem and was better than the description. Extremely impressed by the whole thing from arrival, the personal touches on the property to personalize the stay, and ease of checkout. Would definitely use this property again!

Super comfortable beds, beautifully decorated right in the river. Large refrigerator with two smaller ones available to house all the things to keep the family comfortable. We went fishing and brought our kayaks and John boat. We had a great day with the kayaks and put out at Kanawha falls to the house in a leisurely 5 hours with 4 kids ages 9-14 with no issues. Excellent trip and highly recommend the house. It was well stocked too.

The River House was amazing very clean and inviting. The outdoor space and dock were great to take in the mountain and river views. It was a great area to relax after a day of hiking and exploring. Our kids enjoyed fishing in the river. They caught and released Walleye and small mouth bass. The house was well stocked with everything we needed for our stay. The host kept us updated and was very kind and responsive. This was our first time to West Virginia and we are planning to come back. We would definitely stay at The River House again. Thanks for a great stay!

We really enjoyed our girls trip to the River House. Location was close to several parks/scenic areas & was just as listed. Great river views, clean & comfortable.
