This is a fabulous family Vacation location conveniently located near Camden/Lugoff and Columbia, SC. Great Neighborhood and perfect for swimming, boating & fishing and enjoying the wildlife.

Lovely sloping lot with a wonderful view of Lake Wateree. Large dock with gazebo & deep water for boats. Boat landing only 3 miles away at Colonel Creek landing. Also located at Colonel Creek is The Retreat for a delicious meal after a day on the lake. For those items you forgot at home, visit the market also located at Colonel Creek. They have plenty of gas & groceries.

This 3-bedroom, 2 bath home has plenty of room inside, as well a roomy covered deck overlooking the beautiful Lake Wateree.

Watch your favorite shows on Netflix, Prime etc on the 65" Flat Screen Smart TV, and/or bring your favorite games, puzzles and books for even more entertainment.

Bring your rod for fishing from the dock or from your boat, as Lake Wateree is a top fishing destination. You can also relax under the fan on the covered gazebo down on the dock

This was an amazing stay. The location was beautiful, peaceful and quiet. The house was exactly as stated. Had everything we needed. Beds were comfortable, kitchen well stocked with needed items. Just needed food and clothes. We spent a lot of time on the porch looking at the water relaxing!! Next time we are bringing our fishing poles!!

The location of this property is perfect. The cove is quiet and has a nice area for swimming. The fishing was also very good. The house was very clean and updated. Would definitely stay again.

Ms. Rose was an AWESOME host. She stayed in contact with me and made sure everything was explained and the rental was ready when I arrived. Fabulous view and stay

Thank you so much! We rented this lakehouse for a weekend family reunion and had a ball. The place was clean, well-appointed for our needs (we largely ate elsewhere but the kitchen is nice) and the view of the lake was fabulous. Owner is an absolute sweetheart and so easy to work with.

Cozy Retreat

Property was perfect for a nice get away close to Columbia. Well maintained spacious property and great dock for fishing and boating. 14 year old said “it was a blast”. We are coming back!!

In spite of storms, rain and flooding we caught many fish with our adult sons and all had an enjoyable time. Cabin was well equipped and beds were comfortable. Everything went smooth and our Host, Rose was a delight to work with. Hope to stay again next spring. The Millers

Long weekend fishing trip

This was my second stay at this property and I have had zero complaints. Rose is a wonderful host and a pleasure to work with. We had to book last minute and Rose was very helpful and communicative with anything we needed. The property was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. I would definitely recommend her place to anyone and would absolutely stay there again.

My husband and I totally enjoyed our respite at this location on the water. Beautiful setting on Lake Wateree and we will definitely be back. Met Rose, the owner when she graciously made a trip to show us how to operate the coffee maker. She was responsive, caring, welcoming and knowledgeable. Thanks so much for everything.

This property went above and beyond what we could have hoped for. For starters, it is the cleanest property I have ever rented. I usually spend the first half of our first day of vacation cleaning the homes we rent to my standards, but this home was literally spotless and clean as a whistle. That alone was such a welcome relief for me.The home is in a very private and well maintained area surrounded by other beautiful properties. We were stunned to see the lake through the trees on both sides of the road as we pulled in. The car port was ideal as it was pouring rain on the day we arrived, so we were grateful it was there. The home is so inviting and spacious. Each room had plenty of shelving and tables for all of the things we brought along. There are numerous windows facing the lake, and what a stunning view it is. There’s a covered dock which leads down to a floating open dock. It was the perfect set up for us as we mostly fish during our trip. I brought a small folding table and some lawn chairs down and we were set.I would recommend bringing some dvds if you will be watching tv as the signal isn’t always super strong for Netflix and Hulu etc. There was soap and a starter toilet paper and paper towels. All of the bedding and towels are in pristine condition. There food and shopping options within 15-20 mins. Rose is an absolute delight to communicate with and she really made sure this home has everything you need for an amazing lake vacation.

I am local to this area and have always had a home on Lake Wateree. My entire family and all of our children have enjoyed this lake for 40+ years. It is a 'hidden treasure' in SC, as most other lakes are overcrowded. There are endless activities with in a close proximity, other than water-related ones.

Why they chose this property

Wonderful neighborhood, great fishing, skiing and local marina's. Best of all, Quiet and relaxing! the mornings are wonderful to sit on porch with coffee or tea and listen to the singing of birds and wildlife.

What makes this property unique

Dock has covered Gazebo for shade and open section for fishing and enjoying the sun! Great Location! Large lot.
