Lovely home in So Venice

Enjoyed our stay in So Venice. The pool and outdoor space was wonderful! We were a 10 minute drive to Venice pier. Great location and Kathleen was very easy to work with.

This house is close to everything. The pool was a big hit when we weren’t at the beach the grandkids were floating in the pool.

Great

Had a great month staying here. Location was perfect. Pool was beautiful(too cool to use). Kathleen was very responsive to any of our needs and questions. Would definitely stay here again.

Quiet Neighborhood & Great Host

Overall this is a nice home in a quiet and nice neighborhood. Close to all of the essentials and short drive to all the beaches! Kathleen is a wonderful and understanding host that assisted with our issues quickly!

Wonderful!

Property was exactly as listing described and close to everything. As a first time renter I was nervous, but Kathleen was quick to answer my many questions and offered helpful tips about exploring the area. We met the neighbors who are very nice. Highly recommend this property!

Great vacation

The home is in a wonderful neighborhood and the neighbors are so friendly. The pool was amazing for my family. The home is very close to many beaches. Lovely beach home

We chose this home for its proximity to the beach as well as it having a swimming pool. Neither disappointed. The house itself had everything you’d need to enjoy a relaxing trip. Kathleen, the owner, was lovely and responsive the entire trip. We will be staying again ❤️

This is the second time that we used this house and it was very nice. The master bathroom in front was a little uneven so you had to be careful getting in and out. Pool was very clean and fun to swim in

Home Comfort in Paradise

Nicely appointed home close to downtown Venice. Very close to the bike trail and within walking distance to bike rental. Quiet location with lovely pool including gas bbq. Had a lovely time exploring Venice and visiting relatives. Nice to have a home where we could entertain as well. Many thanks

Mini snow birds

We have stayed here before and loved the property so we came back this year for an extended stay. The house was very clean when we arrived and the pool area wonderful. We enjoyed every minute of our stay and had a very relaxing time spending time outside in any weather with the covered patio or poolside getting some sun and time spent in the pool. We will definitely keep this property on top of our list when staying in Venice. Thank you Kathleen for being such a gracious host!

Everything within reach

Been vacationing in venice for 40+ years. This a great centralized location to take in everything . All of the beaches are within 8-14 minutes, even gasparilla island is just a short drive. The home suited all of our needs and the kids loved the screened in pool area! Awesome host, helpful, polite and easy to het a hold of. Will definotely go back

Spring Break in Venice

The property is well maintained and had everything we could need! The pool was really nice to be able to relax around in the evenings and when staying in from going out to eat. Our three daughters(ages: 3 and twin - 1 year olds) really enjoyed the pool and toys/noodles available. It is a short 8-10 minute drive to the beach. We always park next to “Sharky’s on the Pier” and access the beach through there. It is also a great place to grabs drinks and lunch on the beach.

Very clean, nice property.

Good all around. Property has a nice pool and enclosed cage with lots of outdoor seating. Plenty of DVD's when a little TV was needed to wind down the day. Good location, nice neighborhood. Appliances and kitchen utensils looked new. Everything that was needed was there, owner really didn't miss much in having this property ready to rent.

Visited mid June 2026. I love talking with the host, Kathleen. She really wants her guests to have the best experience. She responds quickly. My husband and I stayed for 2 weeks. I chose this property 1) low enough price that I could afford to stay the length of time I desired 2) the PRIVACY of the pool right outside the door of the house. There are some maintenance updates that could help it to feel more like a vacation instead of a well lived home, but I am a person who is nit-picky and we do a lot of remodeling in our family and they are not deal-breakers. We slept in the master bedroom. My husband didn't have an issue sleeping but I was unable to find the mattress comfortable due to sagging in the center, like most king mattresses tend to do. I'm a edge sleeper so that made it difficult for me. We also chose to use the main bathroom vs the master since the floor is not level and we are not as sure-footed as we used to be. I spent about 4 hours each day in the pool and relished every minute of it. All my neck and upper back pain was gone when I got back home. Pool water was quite warm due to the weather temps being in the 100's, it was PERFECT for me. The pool is well maintained and I truly felt I had privacy while in it. I know the neighbors knew I was there though when I was singing my music. Lol. Sorry neighbors! But I was so relaxed. The property hosts some old, beautiful vegetation and trees. Perfect place!

This was our first time to spend a week in Florida ( to get away from cold Pennsylvania winters). We just loved the house. We are thinking about relocating maybe some day in the future. I told my husband if this was our house I would be packing tomorrow to move south. It was very well stocked with anything we needed. The pool was area was delightful. We have friends that do the winter in Florida. They came over one afternoon and enjoyed our lovely pool with us. The neighborhood is very quiet. I took walks every morning. But we were close to many restaurants and places to shop. A+++ place to stay! I’m sad that it is already booked for next year.

Served it’s purpose alright

Entry into the home was quick & easy. Ac was not working properly the first two days of our stay so it was quite hot but Kathleen went above and beyond to rectify/resolve the situation and did get the AC fixed. The family really enjoyed playing the life & farkle games provided. We hoped to play taboo also but unfortunately it smelled like urine 😬 The separate AC unit in the master was fabulous and kept the temp great in there. Master bed is like sleeping in a ditch & really needs to be replaced. The house itself(broken lamp/closet door) & kitchen pots/pans could use some updating/care/sprucing up. The couch was super comfy! The close access to several beaches was very convenient! We found lots of cool sharks teeth & enjoyed the shopping & pastries. The kids enjoyed the pool. Kathleen is incredibly sweet & you can tell she really cares. For the price it did the trick.
