The commercial area is only 20 minutes by car, and includes access to grocery stores, workout facilities, a public golf course, and many local restaurants. Guests may rent boats and keep at the home overnight. Great area for swimming and fishing!

This home was BETTER than expected!! And very good value, it is quite large with many gathering and private spaces. We rented two for our sons wedding and if I come back I would choose this one again!

My husband and I stayed with friends and family for a weekend getaway to celebrate our anniversary. We had couples and singles. No children. The house is exactly as described and looks better than the photos! The house is maintained well inside. Outside, the back patio area did have a few cobwebs that we knocked down, but there are a lot of woods so the spiders may be more active than in a less wooded area. It gives seclusion, without being isolated. We saw a few people on the lake with their kayaks. We fished from the dock. It was very relaxing. The were no TVs in the rooms.

The house and location were perfect! The interior was exceptionally clean, well organized, and had everything we needed for a great stay. The secluded location was exactly what we were looking for, and the dock was well maintained and a wonderful place to spend time.The only suggestions I would make are regarding the exterior. The porches could use a little more attention, as there were quite a few spiderwebs throughout. While I completely understand that insects are unavoidable, especially in a wooded or lakeside setting, some of the webs had clearly been there for a while—one even stretched the full length of the doorway and was strong enough to catch a toy one of our children threw.I would also recommend checking the porch railing. A couple of the railing posts were loose and beginning to come away from the structure, which could pose a safety hazard, particularly for families with small children.Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would absolutely recommend this property. The beautiful, private location and well-kept interior made it a great place to relax, and with just a little attention to the porch area, it would be nearly perfect.
