“Above it all” is nice

We had a good stay. My wife was sick the first day but we had a good time when she recovered. Quiet neighborhood and close to hiking trails.

Great weekend spot

The unit was in a nice neighborhood not too far from town. I had to take off work early since you must check in at the Big Bear vacations office. Check in was very smooth, though. The house was clean, the outdoor table was very dirty and I didn’t mind cleaning it, but there are no cleaning supplies. Also you’ll need to bring your own condiments as they do not keep any in the cabin. I would stay there again.

A stopover for climbing trip

Property has excellent location for Holcomb trip. It was better than expected. The living room has high ceiling, the made service leaves the spider web hanging, probably because it can't reach that far. I don't understand why to pay over $100 for cleaning if the dust is present, also we are required to clean dishes, tidy the place, take garbage with us, etc. Overall, it is ok for a short stay.

Our stay was great overall. However, the apartment was not all that clean when we got there - still some wine bottles in the kitchen trash can and no trashbags in kitchen. We also got there about an hour before check-in, but they would not provide code access, until about 20mins before 4PM check-in. On the plus side, it is conveniently located with nice view, and the kids loved the cabin look! Will I stay there again? Perhaps!

Good property. Easy walking distance to National Forest for hikes. One bummer, previous renters left their trash in the trash can and did not haul it away and animals came at night and knocked over the trash can spewing the previous renters trash all over. I had to take pictures and clean it up. This was an oversight of the property managers. I should not have to clean up the previous renters trash, ever, period. For the sake of the neighborhood I cleaned it up. Nice neighbors too. Overall a nice stay.

Nice house, but with some troubles

The house is very nice, is exactly the same than we saw in the pictures, but, we had a problem with the hot water in the bathtub, at 10pm the hot water didn't close, so, we closed the geral water and fixed.
