nice location and nice overall cabin. the only problem we observed was the cobwebs all over the inside as well as the outside of the cabin. there were large cobwebs in the kitchen as well as both bedrooms. the dishes had to be washed prior to us using them as they were dirty. other than that we really enjoyed our stay. thanks.

What a great time Rustic but charming

We spent 3 nights here for my birthday and we all had so much fun. It was small but spacious and beautiful. We went to local shops and made a lovely breakfast spread. This place was beyond what we expected and made for the best birthday gift . Can’t wait to come back!

Place was just as advertised. Cabin wasn’t labeled # but we called caretaker who responded right away with correct info. Loved location for town. Used grill and kitchen and everything worked well as advertised.

Stay in Buena Vista

Overall the cabin was acceptable but it could use some “refreshing”. I’d start with a new couch as the current one is actually a folded up bed (?). And not comfortable. The water heater is a pita- not always working. That said, I’d love to own the cabin and it’s walking distance to the old section of town, grocery, and a great coffee shop. If you need a place to hang your hat and don’t need a ton of space or brand new furnishings it’s a great option.

The cabin was overall fine and close to Main Street BV. My main complaint is that is was overpriced for the accommodations, especially when you have to strip the beds and basically clean the unit. It would have been nice to have WIFI as well.

Stacy, we're glad you enjoyed the great location of this cabin! The homeowner doesn't ask or require that guests thoroughly clean before leaving. The minor tasks guests are asked to complete upon departure are standard in the vacation rental industry. The listing for this cabin does not list Wifi as an amenity, but the local library within walking distance provides free Wifi as an alternative solution. Best, the Evolve Team

Not a very good stay

The cabin did not have any hot water. The hot water heater was so tiny. The VRBO showed a shower. I called before we stayed because I read a review about not having hot water and the owner stated they had hot water. I tried for over an hr to shower and no hot water. The cabin was also full of spiders. There isnt an oven and we had no idea it didnt. It didnt have any wood for the fireplace around to use in the fireplace.So our weekend was rough and I know we wont be going back.

We have shared your comments with the homeowner who let us know there is indeed hot water at the cabin. It is an energy efficient system and they have provided instructions if guests feel they have encountered a problem. Room for improvement.

The place was drafty. The place was cold when we go there and the porch light did not work. I called about it on Friday and no one called back during my two day stay. The water would not stay hot and did not know this until we booked. The women did not like this. There was a sign stating they do not provide toilet paper and garbage bags. Thought this was petty. Location is good and Buena Vista is a nice town.
