Yurt #1 absolutely blew me away. It was every bit as beautiful and whimsical as the photos promised. Heidi went above and beyond from the moment I booked. She helped me arrange a last minute extra night without any hassle, and even made sure there was a warm fire going and a s’mores kit waiting for me when I arrived late in the evening.The bathhouses was hands down the cleanest I’ve ever seen. And I have stayed at campsites across the whole US. Plenty of hot water, fresh toiletries, and clean washclothes towels. Inside the yurt I had everything I needed, a plug for my electronics, a coffee maker stocked with cream and sugar, and a real comfortable bed. Warm sheets and a space heater kept that low 40s night feeling extra cozy.10/10 would stay again. Heidi was absolutely amazing, and this place is pure magic.

The set up was beautiful and very comfortable. It was absolutely peaceful too! My husband and I really got to relax! However, there were many ticks so definitely be prepared for that if you plan to bring pets!

This year has unfortunately been a record season for ticks throughout Kentucky and the Red River Gorge, particularly due to the mild winter and wet spring. It's something hikers, campers, and pet owners are encountering across the region rather than an issue unique to our property. We always recommend that guests spending time outdoors wear repellent and perform tick checks after exploring the woods and trails. We hope to welcome you back for another peaceful getaway!

We’re just 25 minutes from Natural Bridge State Park and the best hiking, climbing, and kayaking in Red River Gorge. Even closer, you’ll find winding country roads, old barns, and the kind of quiet that lets you hear your own thoughts again. It’s a place where mornings start with mist over the trees and nights end under a sky full of stars — the perfect balance of wild and welcoming.
