Welcome to Day Dreamer, a truly wonderful vacation getaway. This 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom duplex sleeps 6. It is a 6 minute walk to the beach or a 1 minute bike ride, This home does not miss a beat, brand new furniture, TV's in every bedroom, state of the art kitchen and beautiful decks.

Wake up to the sounds of the ocean while enjoying your coffee and overlooking the bayside view. Take a stroll on the beach or relax and read a book. Want to enjoy a bike ride with the kids? Day Dreamer provides them too!
After sunset, grill up a delicious meal on the outdoor barbeque then head to the spacious backyard to play Frisbee or corn hole. If you find yourself caught up in the rain head up to the loft area where you will find board games and books. This home will be your choice year after year. This home is monitored by a ring camera and can see from the front door to the stairwell.

Great vacation

Our stay was amazing the house had everything we needed besides food. The walk to the beach was not long. The closest store is like 15 20 minute drive.

Wonderful stay

We had a wonderful time. The house was perfect for the five of us. I was worried the beach might be crazy because it was 4th of July week. But it wasn’t bad and there was plenty of room to spread out we would definitely go back.

Amazing stay, beautiful home!

Duplex was beautifully maintained and in a quiet neighborhood. True to the listing it’s about a 5 minute walk to the beach and it’s a perfect location. The owner was quick to answer any questions, very helpful. I’ll definitely be using it for future vacations.

Wonderful inviting home in a great area

Love the home and Eileen was so helpful prior to the stay. The home is perfectly laid out and has everything you need for a stay. Comfy beds and a great kitchen to cook in. We did not use all the Mike's or toys in the garage but could imagine a younger family being thrilled.

Our vacation was great with this rental. It had everything we needed a d lots of space to sprawl out. The chairs, cooler, little push car and beach cart were amazing to not have to bring. Our son loved all the beach toys and the push car. We would rent this place again next year!

Great Beach Getaway

The house is super cute and has everything you need for a great stay. Everything was very clean and orderly. The kitchen and dining space is perfect for preparing meals for a group and we really liked that the master suite was secluded upstairs with a little loft space. Just a short walk from the public beach access, although the rest of our group stayed at a beachfront property nearby so we used that beach access instead. This house was perfect for our needs. Thanks again for a great stay!

Clean, Cozy, Great Location. Will Return!!

The beach house had everything we needed. Kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to cook Thanksgiving dinner. My Japanese wife and her mother are clean freaks and they were pleased with the home. Beds were comfortable. Showers were hot. It's really a sweet, cozy place! We will absolutely consider renting it again.

Family reunited

Our family had not been together in over a year and a half so we meet at the beach where our son lives. Our daughter came in from out of the country along with her children so it was a sweet family time. The house was perfect for our family. It had everything we needed. The host was amazing and so accommodating to my family. Would highly recommend staying here for families. Could not have been a better trip. Thank you Becky

Amazing place with everything you need!

We loved our stay at Daydreamer. My family and I came to town for my niece's graduation. I've stayed at a fair number of rentals and this one is one of the best. The place was well maintained, clean, and had so many "extras" that you don't normally get when renting. There was shampoo and soap in the bathrooms, a well-stocked kitchen with plenty of plates, cups, etc. Dishwasher soap, baggies, filters for the coffee maker, garbage bags etc.It's obvious the owner wants to make the place comfortable for guests and has thought through every last detail. It was wonderful to have a cooler for the beach, a charcoal grill for grilling, beach chairs and toys. I would definitely stay here again.

Vacation Rental Done Right!

I can't express how pleasantly surprised I was to find that the home looked even better than the pictures! Having rented the home for 2 weeks I was grateful for the well thought out details. From the well equipped kitchen to the beach gear in the garage, it made me feel at home. Even the beds were soo comfortable! The beach access was easy and I loved the proximity to the inlet. Can't forget the Tiki Bar around the corner and the friendly locals that I now call friends! Thank you for the most relaxing, comfortable and best rental! I will be back!

A truly awesome place

I must tell you this place was fabulous. We felt so much at home with the wonderful warm decor and stunning upgrades, it made the stay spectacular. I would recommend this to anyone looking for value and all the comforts of home. We really enjoyed the kitchen with its granite counter tops and nice stainless steel appliances. Very clean and well kept both inside and out. The owners were very easy to work with as we had a slight scheduling issue which they quickly helped us with. I will guarantee more stays at this property for us and I am sure for anyone else who chooses to give it a try.

3 Families have come together to pursue a long time dream. We all grew up in New Jersey. One family is from the Lake Norman area, and 2 families still reside up North.

Why they chose this property

We fell in love with this property from the first step in the door. The home had character, and oh how we loved the views. Located on one of the last few streets on the island, the peacefulness is exactly what we were looking for. Sharing this home with my Mom and best friend is exactly how I imagined this story would begin.

What makes this property unique

This duplex was competed gutted when we purchased it. It was renovated with everything you could have imagined and more.
What a pleasure to be able to turn our vision into reality and truly make it our own. Not many people get a chance to start from scratch on a beach home. We feel truly blessed to create the home of our dreams and to be able to share it with you.
