We stayed from Sunday to Friday. The home is spacious, a plus for large gatherings where sometimes you feel like everyone is bumping into everyone else.
The kitchen was large, well-equipped, and (thankfully) labeled. Everything was in great working condition. The large dining area accommodated our group of 19, but it could have handled even a slightly larger group. If you add in the overflow space on the deck, then a group of 30 would be just fine (if I recall right, they said it could accommodate 33).
The sleeping arrangements were great, with a variety of beds to choose from. The big hit was the bunk room for all the cousins to "sleep" together once they stopped giggling.
The entertainment amenities were so fun. Ping-pong, billiards, small basketball hoops, foosball. Unfortunately, the retro pinball machine was out of order. The movie room downstairs was fun for the kids. The hot tub was also nice, especially in the cool of the evening.
We rented a boat from Marine Rentals and went tubing, took the kids to the Adventure Park (which was very crowded), went horseback riding at Beaverlodge, my teenage boys enjoyed mountain biking at Beaver ski resort, we rented a UTV from Epic Recreation which was a lot of fun (there are plenty of trails in the mountains above the lake). The Pickleville Playhouse melodrama was a big hit, even for the little kids.
All in all, we really enjoyed ourselves and hope you will too.
We'd do it again.
