About this property

Private Quiet Retreat - Minutes to Beach & City, Solo-Friendly Casita

Welcome to your private Santa Monica casita — a peaceful one-bedroom guesthouse created for solo travelers seeking comfort, privacy, and quiet.

The casita is located at the back of our property, accessed through a shared gated driveway where our friendly dogs may occasionally be present. Guests must be comfortable around dogs to stay here. Please note: we are unable to accommodate guest pets due to allergies and our resident dogs.

This 500-sq-ft casita offers everything you need for a restorative retreat: a private entrance, full kitchen, cozy bedroom, and a calm atmosphere that makes it easy to rest, work, or simply enjoy Santa Monica at your own pace. We intentionally host single guests only to ensure the environment stays serene and respectful of our neighborhood.

Located in a quiet residential pocket of Santa Monica, you're just minutes from the beach, restaurants, shops, and easy access to the rest of the Westside — with a peaceful sanctuary to come home to at the end of the day.

Your host is an experienced short-term rental operator with years of hosting and a near-perfect rating across hundreds of guest stays. Expect clear communication, a spotless space, and a seamless experience from booking to check-out.

There's something really rewarding about giving someone a place that feels like their own, even if it's just for a week or two. I take a lot of pride in making sure every guest has a seamless experience, from the first message to check-out. I've hosted hundreds of guests across platforms, and I work hard to maintain a near-perfect rating with every single stay. We're always just a text away if you need anything, but otherwise we'll happily leave you to enjoy the peace and quiet — that's what the casita is for.

Why they chose this property

We chose Santa Monica because it has something rare in LA — a real neighborhood feel with genuine walkability, all within reach of everything the city has to offer. Our street is quiet and residential, but you're minutes from the beach, Main Street, Montana Avenue, the Expo Line, and the 10. It's the kind of place where you can hear birds in the morning and still be at dinner in Venice or Downtown in 20 minutes.

What makes this property unique

Santa Monica sits right at the intersection of beach life and city life without the intensity of either. The farmer's markets are some of the best in the country, the restaurant scene punches way above its weight, and there's a creative, laid-back energy here that's hard to find anywhere else in LA. Our little pocket of the neighborhood feels tucked away — guests often say it doesn't feel like they're in a major city at all. That's exactly why we love it, and why we created the casita — so others could experience it too.
