Place was adequate for our purposes. Could use a deep cleaning of cabinets, closets etc. Outside was unkempt and in need of trimming & pick up of trash. There were no instructions on use of television or which programming to use, no volume control, wifi code was not readily available in the house. A few electric outlets did not work.

There was no lake view, the house was dirty , the TV had no volume, half the couch was broke, the king size bed was a foam mattress topper sitting on a frame that folded in half when you sat on it. The door handles to the other units where duck tape closed. Very unsafe. We where only there for a few hours and we was ate up with bug bites. We never stayed a night there. The host agreed to give us a full refund and will not respond to us now. The host is very unprofessional and the listing is nothing but false advertisement. We had to jump from hotel to hotel and ended up going home 4 days before we wanted to.

Checked in on 12/21 and all seemed well until we came home late (it was past 12:30), music was playing loud and people are talking. Contacted host Caesar and music stopped for 5 minutes started back up again. Contacted host again, the other people in another unit started making louder noses and yelling and continued to play music. Contact host again and it finally stopped. The fan and lights for both rooms run together so if one wants a light or fan on both rooms do. The fan in the bedroom with 2 beds clicks and is very loud and annoying. The bigger bed in the one room had a horrible mattress and the one side slopes down so the person on the other side rolls into the other person. The couch is broke so the couch back sticks up and you can’t sit and relax in it. There is a small chair that looks like it came from a sectional sitting there and another extra small chair and I am guessing for extra room. Unable to use the microwave due to broken handle. There are also 2 other units so you deal with people talking loud and being loud and only have this little spot to park your car. On 12/24 at 5:30 am started to hear noises of scratching and chewing. It was coming from kitchen area. It was very loud that I could hear it in the bedroom. Minimal warm/hot water for showers and if one person took one no one else could unless they wanted a cold shower. The last day was the only day we had a bit warmer shower. We ended up going to our families house to take showers which was not fun.

The stay was a bit of a mixed bag of good and bad. Cesar, the host, was welcoming and very communicative before and during much of the stay. At first all looked ok, but late in the evening 10/30 into the morning 10/31 we saw there were a number of issues, and 11/1 more issues occurred:10/31 report was made to Cesar and VRBO, partial credit was issued:beds had long hairs in them on the sheets and/or pillowsfloors in the bedrooms and bathrooms were not properly cleaned. rooms are setup on a remote control system with individual remotes for their lights and fans, but the signals cross causing one remote to control both so we ended up waking each other up accidentally during the night a few times. The fan also in the smaller guest room with the full and twin bed clicked very loudly every time used. Had to get our own fan to use in one room due to AC being boxed and at a set temp making the house at times get warmer than we liked.Microwave had broken handle and had to be pried open to use11/1 report was made to Cesar and VRBO, 2nd issue was left unresolved additional credit pending:Wall shelf in bathroom fell due to improper installationFuse for kitchen blew causing lights, microwave, air fryer, and toaster oven unusable. The only other plugs available to use were also connected to blown fuse. Other things of note: this is a shared house with limited access to laundry, both couches are broken (one literally coming apart), & the walls are very thin. Charming this was not.
